SFC Jerry M. Shriver

This post is a bit different from my usual fare.
I've worn this brave soldiers' bracelet on my wrist for many many years, first the metal POW bracelet, later as a tattoo.
Please check out this link. It's dedicated not only to one of the bravest Soldiers that ever fought, but to his comrades that served in the 5th Special Forces as well.

Thanks for that post and info. I'm not a soldier, but a former Marine who nonetheless admires some of the men, like Shriver, who make it easy for me to be proud of my service and country...

I feel the same way. Soldier, Marine, Airman, Sailor. Everybody that ever served deserves the recognition.
I first got into Shriver after reading Plaster's book "SOG".
By pure coincidence, when I ordered a POW/MIA bracelet, his was the one they sent me.
Ready for an even stranger twist? My Dad, who was a professional soldier and spent 3 tours in Viet Nam, had met him.
Thanks for checking out his page.
