A laundry tip from Wirecutter

For those automotive or household oil and grease stains on clothing, rub in some handcleaner (available at any auto parts store) and let it sit for about a one beer wait, then wash in hot water. It'll even work on stains that have set in.

  1. I've even used it on white Tshirts and had the stain come out even though it had been washed several times already.

  2. I've used fresh oil to help break down the old, dirty oil. Works on hands as well. Rub in new/clean oil then wash as required.
