Busch beer

Damn, I was beginning to wonder if I was the only motherfucker that drank Busch, but after reading the comments on my post about it (2 posts down) I now know others have seen the light.
Busch out here is running $6.99 a 12 pack or a buck and a quarter for a Tall Boy.
I was getting off work one day and one of my bosses asked if I was heading to the bar and I told him no, I had a couple of dozen Buschs' in the icebox at home and I was going home to drink every damned one of them.
He stopped and asked "Busch? You drink Busch? Tell me, do you try to be a fucking redneck or does it just come natural?"
It just comes natural, Cap......

  1. Believe it or not, I drink Busch too, and also
    ice house, Wire Cutter!
It's much cheaper to drink a nice cold one at home.
The miller high life 16 oz 6 packs are on sale nicely at the store by here too!
    Ahhh, beer, makes everything better.

  2. Busch isn't bad at all. I also like Busch Light, Keystone, Natural light, Lone Star, Lone Star Light (when I'm out in Texas), and lots of other "shit" or "redneck" beers like Hamms or PBR.

I generally save the light beers for barbecuing days when I get up at the crack of dawn to light up the smoker. You can drink that shit all damned day and not get so wounded so as to fuck up the meat or fall asleep before it's done. Hours upon hours of smoking meat DEMANDS drinking beer! Paradise!

Tonight, though, my shit beer of choice is Olde English 800 accompanied by a bottle of Single Malt Scotch.

I have been accused of being a beer snob, and that may be so, I do like the good stuff. But I sure as hell ain't too good to enjoy a 30 pack of Keystone light or two over the course of a weekend.

After a long, dirty day of manual labor, you can throw just about anything cold beer wise in front of me, and I guarantee that I'll enjoy it!

In that spirit, I raise a glass of malt liquor to you and yours!

  3. No way would I choose Busch, short of being in a pinch, but I'll have to admit, that's a GREAT price. I sure do, however know what you mean about the beer flavor rolling over the dip. In my case, it's Skoal Straight. Had a ton of Copenhagen in my youth days as well, too.

  5. I can testify to what Foodstamps is saying, because I've seen him do just that. He is actually my brother in real life.

Anyway, my cheap beer of choice is Steel Reserve. 8.1%, and $1.29 for a 24 oz can. One of those goes real good with supper!
