muslim perverts

Does anybody out there know how I can ban certain countries from reading specific categories? Seriously?
I post a lot of shit that I really want certain countries and regions to read - specifically the muslim goatfucking, Allah is Jesus' bitch, Mohammed is a baby raping child molesting goat fucking pervert and shit like that, stuff that  I want muslims, specifically jihad motherfuckers, to read. I ain't afraid of them motherfuckers.
Okay.
The posts that I don't want the motherfuckers to read are anything that is semi-sexual.
I'm fucking serious. It seems like every fucking hit I get from the mid/near east is on my "Babes" or "Camel Toe" categories, and to be perfectly honest with you, I find it extremely offensive that these so-called "devout muslims" are using my blog as a jackoff site, especially as much as I hate their religion and culture.
No shit, I get at least 20 hits a day from that region and every one of the entry and exit pages concerns pussy.
If they're so serious about seeing a semi-nude female, why don't they tell their imams to go get fucked?
All this tells me is that muslims are a bunch of chickenshit motherfuckers that don't have the balls to stand up for their own human desires.
But please. Go to regular porn sites and leave my site the fuck alone. This was never intended or meant for you.
Fuck Mohammed. And Allah. And Obama.

Blame the Babe.....

Friday CAMEL TOE!!!!!

Seeker? Hello?

Hey fucker, I deleted your comments about the soldiers that bravely served their (southern) home states and I've got a few readers that are curious as to just what you said.
Any way you can re-send your bullshit so I can share it with them? Either comment again or send it to my email:
k59lane@yahoo.com  If you can't re-post you're original comments, do the best you can.
You don't even have to identify yourself since we already know you're a pussy.
By the way, stay the fuck away from the British Columbia. Bella's pissed......

A real Hero

One of my pet peeves is the casual and overuse of the word Hero. It seems like so many people are described as "heroes" (policeman and firemen especially) when in fact they are dong the jobs they chose and are getting paid to do.
I do not mean to detract from their dedication or their courage, please please PLEASE understand that, but they are or were doing the job they chose knowing the risks. And believe me when I say that I am grateful and thankful that we have men and women that take these risks everyday for people like me and you., folks they don't know.
But today, I read about a hero. A man that gave his life so that another may live.
Below is an excerpt from the article.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Ron Barber can remember the small details of the Tucson rampage: The gunman, the crackle of gunfire, lying on the ground, wounded, and the weight of a body on him.
A week and a half later, Barber found out that it was his good friend John Roll.
Then he learned the federal judge may have helped save his life.
"I feel terrible of course, that he was there to help me and that got him shot, that he would have given his life for me," an emotional Barber told The Associated Press on Thursday.
"But I know John and I know him enough to know he's a very caring and compassionate person," he said.
Surveillance video taken at the supermarket where the Jan. 8 shooting occurred showed Roll pushing Barber to the ground, helping him crawl under a table and then lying on top of him, authorities said.
Roll then was shot in the back and lost his life in the process.
Authorities hailed Roll as a hero.
"Judge Roll is responsible for directing Mr. Barber out of the line of fire and helped save his life," Pima County sheriff's Chief Rick Kastigar said.
The FBI has the video and has declined to comment on its contents or what it shows.

Personally, without knowing the man, I have a feeling that His Honor wouldn't have cared if he was friends with the man he saved or not. He would've done the same no matter who it was.
So here we have a true Hero.

For Tattoo Jim

On Martin Luther King Day ask why we have a public holiday named after a Vietcong-supporting radical who— in a 1967 speech —compared U.S. forces in Vietnam to Nazis. (True, by the way.) That ought to pull your liberal friend up short. If he recovers his wits and says MLK was right about Vietnam, tell him to talk to some Boat People.
In the meantime, you’ll celebrate Lee-Jackson Day, because Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson were officers and gentlemen.
- #19 of 365 Ways to Drive a Liberal Crazy

Notice that I didn't post a motherfucking thing about MLK on Knuckledraggin'? But really, did you expect me to?

My "Seeker" post this morning......

Yesterday I came across a birthday greeting for General Bob E. Lee, one of the greatest tacticians and most beloved generals of all time, on another site. I thought it was a nice change for all the bullshit that is poured out this week for that fucking Viet Cong sympathizer (it's true, look it up) Martin Luther King so I also posted it on my blog, giving proper credit to the original poster.
So I get up this morning and before I head to work, I check my comments which I have to moderate because of little bitch-ass liberal internet trolls. And what do I see? A fucking HUGE comment from "The Seeker" trying to discredit General Lee, President Davis, and all of the soldiers and sailors that served their homeland. I mean, this comment would run 2 pages if it was in a .doc format.
Okay, two things: Number One and most importantly, do NOT piss me the fuck off before I have my morning coffee. And Number Two? Read the comment rules. I will post them here for ignorant fuckers that don't read them before attempting to dazzle me with their ignorance.

This blog is not a forum. I have my views and I ain't changing them.
Read that again. This blog is not a forum. I'm not interested in your fucking views and I damned sure ain't interested in your opinion. Post a comment that doesn't agree with mine and see how long it lasts.....
Any political statements that I make are going to be conservative.
If I pissed you off, sorry 'bout that. Take your shitty comments down the road.
If you leave an anonymous comment you better know that I ain't gonna cut you any slack.
At least have the decency to make up a name if you're too chickenshit to leave your own.
Fuck Obama.

There it is. Seriously, I cannot make it any clearer. But for some reason, motherfuckers think they can tell me that my thoughts and opinions are wrong. Maybe so, but there's a right way wrong way to do that.
Ernie, from Ernie's House of Whoop-Ass (http://www.ehowa.com/) is a great example of how to do it the right way. Tell me I'm a fucking asshole, that I'm closed minded, and I'm an uneducated redneck. But you know what? Ernie has the fucking balls to print his name and website and he doesn't get personal about his comments. And you know what? Ernie's comments get published even though I thinks he's full of shit. Ernie is a stand-up guy. By the way, check Ernie's blog out. Good shit, even though he's an asshole. Tell him I said so, but smile when you do so. I got a feeling he's the same kinda guy I am......
The wrong way to do it? The way "The Seeker" and Mikey in the past (I suspect it's the same guy) did it. Full of insults, name calling and "facts" that he doesn't back up. In other words, pure bullshit.

Here's the deal, Seeker. You're a fucking keyboard coward. If you said the same shit to me face to face, I'd beat your fucking ass and you know it if you know anything at all about me which is why you hide behind an anonymous profile and a screen name. I don't take that kind of bullshit from nobody. My email address can be found by hitting the "contact" button on my profile. Anytime you're in California, email me and let me know where we can meet so you can tell me face to face the bullshit you laid on me this morning.

The one thing I find funny? The Seeker took some serious time to type out this HUGE comment only to find that it's had to meet my approval before it was published once he hit the submit button. I didn't even read all of it before I trashed it. Wasted time, wasted effort......

Seeker, if you want to take the easy way out, meet with me. If you want to do things the hard way, I'll sic Bella on your dumb ass. She's meaner and tougher than I am, partner. No shit.

One more thing, motherfucker. Never ever discredit any Soldier, Sailor, Marine or Airman, especially if you've never served yourself during a conflict, police action or war. Or even a peacetime vet like myself. You do not have that fucking Right.

Some good came from the Shooting of Gabby Gifford

What good could possibly come from something so horrible, you ask?
Well, for one thing it put to rest the argument of which is the better round, the 9mm or the 45 ACP.
Think about it for a minute. Fuckhead shot her at point blank range, in the forehead with a 9mm. Less than 2 weeks later, she's actually standing up.
If that had been a 45 ACP, they'd still be finding pieces of her brains in the begonias.

That being said, I do wish her and the others that survived a complete and full recovery.
For the survivors of those that died that terrible day, I extend my very deepest sympathies. I am truly at a loss for words because there is no way I can understand your grief.

For "Seeker"

Back up your bullshit opinions with verifiable facts, asshole. Maybe then I might consider publishing your comments.
Your dumbass fucking remarks are why I have comment moderation.
Kind of funny, but I wanted to send this message (and more) to you privately but you chose not to make your blogger profile public, probably becasue you're a fucking keyboard coward. You know, you like to hide behind an alias and a computer screen when you make your snide little remarks.
FUCK YOU!

Happy Birthday, Robert E. Lee

Today we take a moment to remember the birth anniversary of Robert E. Lee (1807-1870), one of the greatest military commanders in American history. He was also a great man of faith who gave his all for the cause of liberty and states' rights, which we at The Patriot Post hold so dear.

There were many honorable men of the Confederate States of America, whose objective was, first and foremost, the protection of states rights, and decidedly not the continuation of abhorrent institution of slavery. For a better understanding on the issues of the day, read this perspective on Abraham Lincoln, which was not included in your grade-school civics class. The honor we give these men has its roots in the founding of this great nation.

Mark Alexander notes in his essay, "Lincoln's Legacy at 200," that "the causal case for states' rights is most aptly demonstrated by the words and actions of Gen. Lee, who detested slavery and opposed secession. In 1860, however, Gen. Lee declined President Abraham Lincoln's request that he take command of the Army of the Potomac, saying that his first allegiance was to his home state of Virginia: 'I have, therefore, resigned my commission in the army, and save in defense of my native state... I hope I may never be called on to draw my sword.' He would, soon thereafter, take command of the Army of Northern Virginia, rallying his officers with these words: 'Let each man resolve to be victorious, and that the right of self-government, liberty, and peace shall find him a defender."

http://patriotpost.us/

I had several Great Great Uncles and my Paternal Great Great Grandfather that fought for the Confederacy. Four of my six uncles were lost. Grandpa Stone returned home alive, but crippled for life.
I am unapologetic for my ancestors' loyalty to their homeland and will always honor those Patriots that served on both sides of the War.
God Bless General Lee and President Jeff Davis. Rest in Peace, Gentlemen.

Ammo Bill (AB 962) in California unconstitutional

From The NRA/ILA

California Court Strikes Down Ammunition Law!

In an important victory for California gun owners, the Fresno Superior Court ruled today that California's new ammunition regulation law is unconstitutional, and blocked further enforcement.

The law, passed last year as AB 962, would have banned mail order ammunition sales and required all purchases of so called "handgun ammunition" to be registered. In an unwritten ruling from the bench, Judge Jeffrey Hamilton found the law unconstitutionally vague on its face and issued an injunction against its enforcement. For now, at least, mail order ammunition sales to California residents can continue, and ammunition sales need not be registered under the law.

The lawsuit-funded by the National Rifle Association and the California Rifle and Pistol (CRPA) Foundation as part of a joint Legal Action Project-was prompted in part by the many objections and questions raised by confused police, ammunition purchasers, and sellers about what ammunition is covered by the new law. Plaintiffs in the case include Tehama County Sheriff Clay Parker, the CRPA Foundation, Herb Bauer Sporting Goods, ammunition shipper Able's Ammo, collectible ammunition shipper RTG Sporting Collectibles, and individual Steven Stonecipher. Mendocino Sheriff Tom Allman also supported the lawsuit.

The ruling comes just days before the ban on mail order sales of so called "handgun ammunition" was set to take effect. Many of the nation's largest mail-order and online ammunition retailers had already announced that they would soon end sales to California residents. If the law had gone into effect, it would have required that "handgun ammunition" be stored out of the reach of customers, that ammunition vendors collect ammunition sales registration information and thumbprints from purchasers, and that vendors conduct transactions face to face for all deliveries and transfers of "handgun ammunition."

Fortunately, the court agreed that AB 962 is unconstitutionally vague on its face because it fails to provide sufficient legal notice of what ammunition cartridges are "principally for use in a handgun," and therefore regulated as "handgun ammunition" under AB 962. The law gives no explanation of how to determine what cartridges are "principally for use in" handguns.

The state is likely to appeal this important victory, and anti-gun lawmakers in Sacramento will undoubtedly try again to destroy lawful ammunition sales in California. Only the ongoing support and activism of California gun owners can block those efforts, so please watch your e-mail alerts and visit www.nraila.org for updates on this critically important issue.

Y'all can thank Claymore for this one, guys!

For Woody

The entitlement attitude that's taken over our country is one of Woodys' favorite things to get pissed about. I thought of him as soon as I saw this.

Yeah, I know. I'm a racist.

Saw this video on a Chinese military shovel at Sipsey Street Irregulars (sidebar) and wasn't too impressed. My first thought was about the Chinamen that were demonstrating it - "Industrious li'l fuckers, ain't they?" and my second thought was "Give it a year and Wal-Mart will be selling them." Of course they'll probably be tainted with lead......

Backpedalin'

WATERVILLE, Maine – Gov. Paul LePage changed his Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend plans and showed up at a breakfast honoring the slain civil rights leader Monday, days after he said critics of his decision to skip other events could "kiss my butt." He even joined some of the participants in an African dance.
The Republican governor's appearance was organized in the days after he made the remark Friday, responding to a reporter's question about criticism he had received over his decision not to attend the state NAACP's annual King Day celebrations. He said at the time that he didn't attend events for special interests, and his spokesman cited scheduling conflicts.
"Tell them to kiss my butt," LePage said.

The comment drew harsh criticism from state and national leaders of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Maine NAACP Director Rachel Talbot Ross said her organization is no special interest, and the group's national president and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous said LePage's comments "inflame racial tension."

Actually Ma'am, the NAACP is in fact a special interest group. I'm not saying it's a bad or evil one, but yes, it is a special interest group. It represents black folks, not asians, not whites, not hispanics. Black folks. And to be honest, with todays' laws and past court decisions, I'm not really sure it's a necessary special interest group.
And as far as the Governor backpedaling....... he is a politician.
Sorry, Deb.

Gotta be California (again)

Thanks, Steve. I think. Oh hell, never mind.......

Caption, please?

Seriously, I got nothin' here.......

From the Glenn Beck Show

Remember last week when all the media figures were pointing out violent rhetoric and hate speech from the right and the Tea Party? Trying to point it out, at least. But what happens when someone from the left threatens members of the Tea Party? The media ignores the story, of course!

At the end Christiane Amanpour’s show covering an event in Tuscon, Eric Fuller, who was shot twice by Jared Lee Loughner, threatened Arizona Tea Party spokesperson Trent Humphries. According to news reports, Fuller took a picture of Humphries and yelled out “You’re dead!”

Pat played the audio where Christiane Amanpour said, “As our town hall concluded, one of the victims of the shooting in our audience became agitated and was detained by security. James Eric Fuller, who was shot twice last Saturday, appeared to direct a threat towards a member of the Tea Party in our audience when he spoke. Fuller was charged with a misdemeanor and involuntarily committed. According to the Pima County sheriff’s office.”

Glenn was a little offended by the phrase “appeared to threaten”, when it was pretty obvious he did threaten it. “It was all on videotape. He appeared to threaten. He looked at the Tea Party members and the head of the Tea Party in Arizona who has already been warned do not show your face in public spaces now because you’re under threat. He appeared to make a threat. No, he took a picture of the Tea Party member and then pointed to them and said, ‘You’re dead. You’re dead’,” Glenn said.

How to drive a liberal crazy

From the book "365 Ways To Drive a Liberal Crazy"
#17 of 365:

Quote with appropriate reverence and non-judgmental, multicultural appreciation the great Iranian religious leader Ayatollah Khomeini:
"To marry a girl before she begins menstruating is a divine blessing."

If your liberal friend starts sputtering, cheerfully inquire, "Who are you to judge another culture—you're not Islamophobic, are you?"

Mom would be so proud!!!

It seems like me expressing my point of view just keeps getting me into more and more hot water.......
Posted on our local papers' comments  in the Letters to the Editor section concerning a letter that compares the ACLU to the Communist Party:

Patterson7 wrote, in response to KennyLane:
Careful my right wing nut friend. The lib whiners who would protect speech only that agrees with their demented POV are out in full force. Keep making sense in here and you'll be receiving a nasty little email from the forum police threatening to ban you too.

My reply was "I can add that to my proud list of accomplishments!"

Damn, it seems like I keep making "The List" without even trying. I know, it's a special talent I have.....

And Obamacare hasn't even kicked in yet.....

REDDING, Calif. -- A Northern California man is facing charges after police say he brought a gun into a hospital emergency room and threatened to start shooting if he didn't get faster attention for treatment he was seeking.

CharlieGodammits' day

Me and CharlieGodammit went to the dog park today so he could burn off a little energy. I could tell he needed it when I came home from shopping to a crater in my backyard and 3 garden hoses instead of the one I had when I left.
Anyways, when we get there Chrissie is there with her baby boy Brody. CGD and Brody are buddies and they haven't seen each other in quite a while so they get to romping around. Did I mention that Brody is the biggest fucking Doberman I have ever seen? And seriously, he's a big baby. It's funnier than shit to hear Chrissie telling him "I know you were raised by a woman, but you need to man up, motherfucker" whenever a big dog plays too rough with him and he comes running back to mama.
Anyways, him and Charlie play for an hour or so, then Chrissie and Brody take off. Shortly after that, a couple pull in with a little white Pomeranium, looking a little nervous with Charlie there, so I call him over while they come in. After they all calm down I turned Charlie loose and let him play with the Pom.
It was so fucking cool to watch Charlie who had just been rough-housing with a Dobie, out there playing real gentle with this furball that was 1/10th his size. I mean he was SO careful with this little dog it wasn't funny.
I seriously don't think I could've found a better dog if I had tried. He's got such a wonderful temperment around kids and other animals, but still protective over me and his home.
Matter of fact, he's over in the corner licking an Evil Cats' ass right now.
After I get him home, I headed to the store to get him some food. I had been feeding him 2 large cans of Alpo every day, one in the morning and one when I get home but that shit is starting to get a little expensive so I figured I'd try to get him to eat some dry dog food instead during the evening. Now last time I tried that shit he damned near starved himself, so I decided to trick him into it this time.
When I got home, I dumped some of the dry food in a bowl, then let him in. But instead of giving him a doggie treat, I gave him a couple chunks (not sure if it was kibbles or a bits) as a treat. He went for it, then noticed there was a whole bowl of the shit on the porch.
The only problem now is that instead of eating right there in the laundry room, the silly fucker will go to his dish, get one piece, bring it back to his rug, eat it, then get up and do it all over again, one piece at a time.
Hey, I said he had a great disposition, not that he was smart.
Now he's finished licking cat ass and wanting me to go to bed.
Goodnight.

Comment moderation (again)

Sorry folks, I have another internet troll so I have to resort to moderation again. All comments will be reviewed and probably posted before I go to beddy-bye.

If any of you watched the Memorial Service Pep Rally on Wednesday in Tucson, I bet you, like me, were wondering about all the applause and cheering going on during Obama’s speech. Myself, I though it was very disgraceful to turn a memorial into a campaign rally. Even Robert Gibbs claimed he didn’t know why all the applause.
Well, it seems here’s the reason for all the applause and cheering. This is the jumbotron in use during the “service”.

Bad-ass toys

I'm not into RC planes (or other RC toys) at all but a jet powered RC plane?

It's business as usual in DC, huh?

What I find disheartening is the fact that the politician associated with the fundraiser that was mentioned, Jeff Denham, is one of my elected officials.
It looks like Jeff wasn't listening to his largely conservative constituents after all and just rode the conservative wave to Washington.
Keep it up Jeff, and your ass is out of there........

For Heady Tea Party, Now The Hard Part Begins
By CHARLES BABINGTON - Associated Press

WASHINGTON -- Welcome to Washington, tea partiers.
Now that they're freshmen in a GOP-run House, the political movement's candidates are running smack into the traditions, partisan divisions and powerful competing interests that make it so hard to redirect the government.
Some tea party activists - part of a loose-knit, libertarian-tinged network advocating small government and less federal spending - already are dismayed to see their new lawmakers plunge into familiar patterns of raising political cash, hiring former lobbyists and stopping short of the often-heard vow to "change the way Washington works."
Others are more lenient and patient.
"There's a little bit of expectation that they can do more than they really can do," said Sal Russo, a California-based co-founder of the Tea Party Express. Democrats still control the Senate and White House, he noted in an interview from Wyoming, where he was visiting potential Senate candidates for 2012.
Russo said the recently enacted tax cut compromise reached with President Barack Obama was imperfect but "as good a deal as we're going to get." The tea party must expand its influence with each new election, he added.
Other activists, however, fear their newly elected lawmakers will fall too quickly into old Washington habits of turning to special interest groups and their lobbyists for information, advice and campaign money. Some winced at a Jan. 4 fundraiser at Washington's W Hotel, where ticket prices ranged from $2,500 for individuals to $50,000 for "donors." It was sponsored by a political committee founded by freshman Rep. Jeff Denham of California and other Republicans who won election with tea party support.
Denham defended the event, telling reporters his freshman class needs campaign money to stay self-reliant and win future elections.

See? It's easy to eat healthy!

So after I get in tonight and warm up I figured out I was hungry so I went and shredded a bunch of lettuce, chopped a tomato, some green onion, a couple of jalepenos, grated some cheese and cut up an avocado for a nice salad with some olive oil and and red wine vinegar as a dressing. Good for the heart, good for the soul, right?
So just before I dug into the healthiest meal I had eaten all week, I remembered that I had forgotten the single most important ingredient.
A pound of motherfucking bacon fried crispy, crumbled in and bacon grease drizzled over the top of the whole mess.
Now that was a salad!

AZ Shooting Victim Arrested For Making Threats

PHOENIX -- One of the Arizona shooting victims was arrested Saturday and then taken for a psychiatric evaluation after authorities said he took a picture of a tea party leader at televised town hall meeting and yelled: "you're dead."
James Eric Fuller, 63, objected to something Trent Humphries said during the forum taped for a special edition of ABC's "This Week" with Christiane Amanpour, Pima County sheriff's spokesman Jason Ogan said. Fuller was in the front row and apparently became upset when Humphries suggested that any conversations about gun control should be delayed until all the dead were buried, KGUN-TV in Tucson reported.
Fuller was arrested on misdemeanor disorderly conduct and threat charges, Ogan said. While Fuller was being escorted out, deputies decided he needed a mental health evaluation and he was taken to a hospital, where he remained Saturday evening.
The hospital will determine when he will be released, Ogan said.
Fuller was one of 19 people shot at a Safeway store Jan. 8. Six people died and Rep. Gabrielle Giffords remains in critical condition with a bullet wound to the head

The Left Wing idiots here in town are already posting comments that "Law enforcement is over-reacting" and "Give him a break, he's the victim here.
Funny how they'll point the finger at the Right but make excuses all day long for the Left.

This shit is starting to get old, Bro.

Among the first 'Germans' captured at Normandy were several Koreans. They had been forced to fight for the Japanese Army until they were captured by the Russians and forced to fight for the Russian Army until they were captured by the Germans and forced to fight for the German Army until they were captured by the US Army.

Hey Mohummad!!!!!

Dehydrated kiwi fruit

The dried kiwi turned out well. Tart but very flavorful, and definitely something I'll do again.
I did 5 pounds and when I was done I could fit everything into 2 quart sized ziplock bags with room to spare.
There's a bowl of the kiwi chips sitting on the dining room table next to a couple boxes of ammo, my coyote rifle, cleaning kit, binoculars and a few other life essentials. Every once in a while I'll pop a couple into my mouth just to enjoy the sensation.

Ah, it's good to be back home!

But if it works.......

My kinda guy

Is there ANYBODY or ANYTHING you folks won't fuck?

Following is an excerpt from http://hillbillywhitetrash.blogspot.com/ concerning the loss of free speech in Denmark in favor of Sharia.

Now in the crosshairs is my very dear friend and colleague, Lars Hedegaard, President of the Danish Free Press Society and the International Free Press Society. (A historian as well as a journalist and author, Lars took me on a special tour of Copenhagen, which I wrote about here.) On January 24 he goes on trial. His crime? Discussing the high incidence of family rape within Islamic cultures, which the prosecutor is attempting to outlaw as "racism."

High incidence of family rape within Islamic cultures.....
Damn. First little children & goats and now family members. No wonder you motherfuckers are still stuck in the Middle Ages. You're too busy luring relatives into your beds instead of trying to advance your society.
And that answers the questions about burkas. You don't want the neighbors to know you're fucking your mothers, sisters and daughters.

Governor to NAACP: "Kiss my butt"

Hey Ken -
Not sure if you've seen this. We have a new governor here in Maine. He's far from being polished, not your typical political blow hard....to date.
He's been passing up invitations from the NAACP because he considers them a special interest group. He is not attending any Martin Luther King memorials Monday, but is attending the funeral of a Maine State trooper.

From a local news station:
"When a reporter from another television station asked LePage if his non-participation is more than one instance, and rather a pattern, he replied, "Tell 'em to kiss my butt. If they want to play the race card, come to dinner and my son will talk to them."
LePage's adopted son is black.
Gotta love it!

Hey Timmy, are you fucking insane?

WASHINGTON – The United States just passed a dubious milestone: Government debt surged to an all-time high, more than $14 trillion.
That means Congress soon will have to lift the legal debt limit to give the nearly maxed-out government an even higher credit limit or dramatically cut spending to stay within the current cap. Either way, a fight is ahead on Capitol Hill, inflamed by the passions of tea party activists and deficit hawks.
Today's debt level represents a $45,300 tab for each and everyone in the country.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner says failure to increase borrowing authority would be "a catastrophe," perhaps rivaling the financial meltdown of 2008-2009.
Congressional Republicans, flexing muscle after November's victories, say the election results show that people are weary of big government and deficit spending, and that it's time to draw the line against more borrowing.

It's a redneck hunting trip

Two Okies flew to Canada on a hunting trip.
They chartered a small plane to take them into the Rockies for a week hunting moose. They managed to bag 6.
As they were loading the plane to return, the pilot said the plane could take only 4 moose.
Both of the good ole boys objected strongly. "Last year we shot six. The pilot let us take them all and he had the same plane as yours."
Reluctantly, the pilot gave in and all six were loaded. The plane took off.
However, while attempting to cross some mountains, even on full power, the little plane couldn't handle the load and went down.
Somehow, surrounded by the moose bodies, only Ralph and Dick survived the crash.
After climbing out of the wreckage, Ralph asked Dick, "Any idea where we are?"
Dick replied, "I think we're pretty close to where we crashed last year."

Coyote Hunting 101

So I get an email from Slow Joe wanting to know what it was going to take equipment and money wise to get him started coyote hunting.
That’s a tough question, but at the same time, an easy one.

But something everybody needs to understand before I get started is that I am no expert, by any means. I’ve only been in it myself seriously a couple years. But I’m willing to pass on what I’ve learned by trial and error to keep somebody else from making the same mistakes.
I’m assuming that because Joe’s interested, he already hunts or at least shoots. But I’m going to start at the top anyways and work my way down.
This can be a long article, so today I’m going to cover rifles and ammo. I’ll cover shotguns, camo, calls and other assorted shit in later posts.

Firearms:
Your biggest expense for sure is a rifle if you don't already have one.
I shoot a Savage Model 11 in 22-250 with a 3x9 Bushnell scope. Why the 22-250? Because it’s a fast, flat shooting son of a bitch and it’s proven itself over and over for this type of game. Plus, I’ve always wanted a 22-250 for as long as I can remember. My rifle and scope, right now at the BassPro, will run you about $450 out the door. That ain’t a bad deal for a tool that will last you a lifetime.
Why a 3x9 scope? Because that’s what it came with and it suits my particular situation just fine. If I saw a reason to replace it, I would. Actually I did replace it one time for a minute, but that was a stupid fucking mistake and I’ll explain why a little later.

Okay. A coyote rifle can be damned near anything you want it to be but I’d stick with something smaller than a 30 caliber. Why? Because if you need a follow-up shot you don’t want to spend the time recovering from recoil to re-acquire the target. The recoil from my rifle is so little that with just a touch of practice you can actually see the bullet hit the target through the scope.
If you don’t live in Kalifornia, you might consider your AR-15 in 223. The AR platform has gotten extremely popular with varmint and predator hunters lately. I’m not sure why, maybe it’s because of all the neat shit you can hang off that sucker. But one HUGE advantage that the 223 has is the availability of ammo. You can buy that shit anywhere and it’s cheap.
I’ve heard of calibers as small as 17 being used but I’d have to have a fairly close shot with little wind before I felt comfortable using something that small and light.
On the upper end of the scale any of the 6mm’s would suffice, especially the 243 Winchester. You’ve got a great range of bullet weights and the heavier bullets would buck the wind better than my 55 grain 22-250.
What I’m trying to say is that you for sure don’t need a cannon to kill a coyote. They’re a very thin skinned animal and if you connect in the chest area with a fast bullet in the 40 - 80 grain range, that motherfucker will just stiffen up and fall over dead when you hit him. Seriously. I have never walked up on a coyote that I’ve shot to find it still alive.

Ammunition:
As with anything else concerning accuracy, find what shoots well and stick with it.
My favorite no shit hands down fucking A ammo is Hornadys’ 55 grain V-MAX in 22-250. The factory load prints MOA from a rest all day long, it moves out at 3800 fps and is devastating when it hits. It’s available in loaded ammo and in bullets only for the reloaders. It hits 1 inch high at 100 yards, dead on at 200 and supposedly 6 inches low at 300 yards, which means that out to 250 yards I aim dead on and I’ll connect. I don’t feel comfortable shooting any further than 200 yards anyways and will pass the shot.
Now at the top of the paragraph I said to find something and stick with it. That being said, I’m looking at 3 ½ boxes of V-MAX, 4 boxes of 50 grain JHP and a box of Hornadys’ Superformance in 50 grain V-MAX that I just picked up today and can’t wait to try out.
Why do I have 3 different kinds of ammo? Because I’m a fucking gun-whore. Hey, 22-250 ammo can be kinda hard to find sometimes so when I see some, I buy it. But again, my favorite is the 55 grain V-MAX. If I were to walk out the door right now to hunt, that’s what would be in my pockets. That may change when I try out the box of Superformance that I bought today.

Scopes:
I have the 3x9 that the gun came with and to be honest, I have no reason to upgrade. It does what I need it to do.
I keep it on 2 settings depending where I’m hunting. For this side of the Sierras where it’s brushy and forested and shots are generally less than 100 yards it stays on 3 power. On the other side of the hills where it‘s more open, it stays on 6 power.
Why just 2 variables? Because I’m a cheap fucker and I can’t afford a range-finder. I know what a coyote looks like through my scope at 3 and 6 power. That’s how I estimate my range. If I have to crank it up to 9 power to connect, that’s a bit beyond my shooting abilities at this time. I’ll pass the shot.
I bought Pops an 8x32 for his rifle. That lasted until he tried to zero it, then he took it off and gave it back. I put it on mine for about 30 seconds and took it off and threw it in my closet where it still sits today. Why? Because you have absolutely no decent field of view at 100 yards even at it’s lowest setting. And besides that, there’s so many fucking reticule marks that I spent more time looking at them than I did at the target. That scope may have its’ use at a prairie dog town where the shooter is stationary and has time to fuck around with it, but coyote shooting? Uh-uh.
If you want a better quality scope, by all means go for it. Pops ended up putting a Leopold 3x9 on his.

Okay. This post turned out to be a lot fucking longer than I thought it would. I’ll cover more stuff at another time.

Concrete. Barbed Wire. Gun Towers.

WASHINGTON – The Obama administration on Friday ended a high-tech border fence project that cost taxpayers nearly $1 billion but did little to improve security. Congress ordered the high-tech fence along the border with Mexico in 2006 amid a clamor over the porous border, but it yielded only 53 miles of protection.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said the lesson of the multimillion-dollar program is there is no "one-size-fits-all" solution for border security.
Napolitano said the department's new technology strategy for securing the border is to use existing, proven technology tailored to the distinct terrain and population density of each region of the nearly 2,000-mile U.S-Mexico border. That would provide faster technology deployment, better coverage and more bang for the buck, she said.
Although it has been well known that the virtual fence project would be dumped, Napolitano officially informed key members of Congress Friday that an "independent, quantitative, science-based review made clear" the fence, known as SBInet, "cannot meet its original objective of providing a single, integrated border security technology solution."
The fence, initiated in 2005, was to be a network of cameras, ground sensors and radars that would be used to spot incursions or problems and decide where to deploy Border Patrol agents. It was supposed to be keeping watch over most of this nation's southern border with Mexico by this year.
Instead, taxpayers ended up with about 53 miles of operational "virtual fence" in Arizona for a cost of at least $15 million a mile, according to testimony in previous congressional hearings

Dried Kiwi Fruit

I'm not quite sure how it's going to turn out but I just spent the last 45 minutes peeling and slicing a shitload of kiwi fruit for the dehydrator.
I scored 5 pounds for 5 bucks from a property owner in Manteca, just down the road from the BassPro, and didn't want it to go to waste.
Somehow I'm thinking it's going to be like dried strawberries - just a flavor explosion when it hits the tongue.
I'll let you know......

Oh, Those Wild and Crazy Right Wingers!!!!

TUCSON, Ariz. – The suspect in the mass shooting in Arizona posed for photos with a gun, dressed only in a bright red G-string, and had the film developed on the evening of the rampage that killed six people and gravely injured Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, authorities said Friday.

Jury Acquits Gun Fair Organizer In Accidental Death

I can see where mistakes were made by both sides in this case - a non-certified juvenile as a range officer on the defendants' side and a father letting an 8 year old boy shoot a fully automatic maching gun on the other.
Sounds to me like both sides fucked up, but I really have to question the judgement of a father that would let his son shoot that kind of weapon. I mean, at 8 years old I was still shooting a single shot bolt action 22 LR and even then only under the extremely close supervision of my dad or an NRA range instructor.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- A gun fair organizer was acquitted of manslaughter and other charges Friday in the 2008 death of an 8-year-old boy who accidentally shot himself in the head with an Uzi at a machine gun expo in western Massachusetts.
A Hampden Superior Court jury found former Pelham, Mass., Police Chief Edward Fleury not guilty of involuntary manslaughter and three counts of furnishing machine guns to minors in the death of Christopher Bizilj of Ashford, Conn. The charges carry up to 50 years in prison.
Fleury's firearms training company co-sponsored the annual Machine Gun Shoot and Firearms Expo at the Westfield Sportsman's Club, about 10 miles west of Springfield. Christopher was shooting a 9 mm micro Uzi at pumpkins on Oct. 26, 2008, when the gun kicked back and shot him in the head. The jury was shown a graphic video of the accident, taken by the boy's father, that led to a collective gasp in the courtroom.

The 53-year-old Fleury cried and hugged his attorney and his family after the verdicts were read, while several of Christopher's relatives walked quickly out of the courtroom without commenting.
Fleury said he regretted holding the machine gun shoot and will never do it again.
"I want to express my heartfelt sympathy to the Bizilj family," Fleury said in a courthouse hallway to a throng of TV cameras and reporters. "It was always meant to be an educational event for people and it's unfortunate this terrible accident happened."
He said his arrest and the trial were devastating to him, and that he would rather be "dropped into hell than go through this again."
His wife, Jacalyn, added, "I'm glad to have my husband back. He's an innocent man."

One juror declined to immediately comment Friday, and messages were left for several other jury members.
Prosecutor William Bennett said he wouldn't have done anything differently. He said he believed the organizers of the event were the people responsible for the boy's death.
"We had a fair trial," Bennett said. "We were able to make our case. The jury has spoken. We will live with that verdict."
Asked why Christopher's father, who let his two sons fire the Uzi, wasn't charged, Bennett said, "I thought he was punished enough."
Bennett said he will now consider what to do with the cases of two co-defendants, Domenico Spano of New Milford, Conn., and Carl Giuffre of Hartford, Conn., who have machine gun licenses and brought the Uzi and other automatic weapons to the expo that day. Both have pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
Bennett said he will be meeting with a judge on Tuesday to discuss those cases.

Bennett had argued that Fleury was criminally reckless in running the event because he allowed children to illegally shoot machine guns under the supervision of a firing range officer who was 15 at the time and didn't have a firearms license or certification.
Fleury's lawyer, Rosemary Curran Scapicchio, denied the allegations and blamed the boy's father, emergency room Dr. Charles Bizilj, for allowing Christopher and his then-11-year-old brother Colin to shoot such a dangerous weapon. Scapicchio noted that Charles Bizilj signed a waiver at the expo acknowledging the risks, including death, and absolving anyone of liability if something bad happened.

Words of Wisdom From My Ex........
