Why Republican men are so happy

Our "Federal Family"?

Here's an email I got from Deb over at Debbie Does Drivel (www.debbiedoesdrivel.com) today.

Hey Ken -
Have you heard about Gibson guitars, the raid on their facility by our "Federal Family" (WTF? Now they're our "family"? ) for using wood from India that was not finished by Indian labor per some Indian whacked out Indian law, and then told by the Obama administration in writing that if Gibson agreed to use Madagascar labor rather than US labor, their problems would "go away"?
CHRIS DANIEL: Mr. Juszkiewicz, did an agent of the US government suggest to you that your problems would go away if you used Madagascar labor instead of American labor?
HENRY JUSZKIEWICZ (Gibson guitar CEO): They actually wrote that in a pleading.
CHRIS DANIEL: Excuse me?
HENRY JUSKIEWICZ: They actually wrote that it a pleading.
CHRIS DANIEL: That your problems would go away if you used Madagascar labor instead of our labor?
HENRY JUSKIEWICZ: Yes. They said that explicitly.
I can't write about this stuff on my blog. It just makes me want to move to Switzerland to live on an alp in a yurt. I know you can do it justice and get the right readers to get PO'd. I'd just get a bunch of tweens texting me that gee tars are kewl.

"The timing was coincidental"? Yeah, right.

House Speaker John Boehner has asked President Obama to postpone his planned jobs speech by a day, after the White House announced Wednesday that it was scheduling the address for the same night as a GOP 2012 primary debate in California.
The two-hour debate, at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, was supposed to start at 8 p.m. on Sept. 7. In Obama's letter to congressional leaders Wednesday, the president requested to speak before a joint session of Congress at the very same time.
The president, though, needs permission from congressional leaders in order to deliver the address. While House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi welcomed the president, Boehner said in a letter late Wednesday afternoon that he would like the president to pick a different time. He did not mention the debate. Since the House does not come into session until Sept. 7, with votes scheduled that evening, Boehner expressed concern about the time it would take to conduct the security sweep in time for a presidential speech.
"It is my recommendation that your address be held on the following evening, when we can ensure there will be no parliamentary or logistical impediments that might detract from your remarks," Boehner wrote.
Boehner's spokesman added in a statement that the White House ignored protocol by not first requesting a date from the speaker's office.
"It's unfortunate the White House ignored decades -- if not centuries -- of the protocol of working out a mutually agreeable date and time before making any public announcement," Boehner spokesman Brendan Buck said.
A senior House Democratic aide called Boehner's office "childish" for asking the president to reschedule.
"The childish behavior coming out of the speaker's office today is truly historic," the aide said. "It is unprecedented to reject the date that a president wants to address a joint session of the Congress."
The White House had insisted the timing was coincidental. Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters there were many scheduling "considerations" and suggested the president has no interest in detracting from the debate viewership.

Steven Seagal is being threatened with a lawsuit over his part in a police raid that was taped for his A&E reality show, TMZ reported.
The actor, who has served as a reserve deputy sheriff since the mid-'80s, was part of a team that arrived at Jesus Sanchez Llovera's Arizona house in March with a tank and armed in full riot gear, Llovera alleges in his legal documents.
Llovera claims that the raid, carried out by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department, was "unfounded" because they believed Llovera was raising roosters for illegal cockfighting. But he says the roosters are only "for show."
Llovera -- who served both Seagal and Sheriff Joe Arpaio with an official notice of claim, the first step toward a lawsuit -- says his 11-month-old puppy was shot and killed during the raid and that police also killed more than 100 of his roosters.
Additionally, he says the police rammed the tank into a gate on his property and that his home suffered "substantial damage."
Llovera is seeking $100,000 in damages and wants a "formal written apology" from Seagal to his children for the death of their puppy, "a beloved family pet."
According to TMZ, the entire incident was recorded for Seagal's reality show, Steven Seagal Lawman.
A&E declined comment when contacted by The Hollywood Reporter. Seagal and the Maricopa County authorities have yet to comment.

*****

I've always thought Seagal was a fucking pussy and a blowhard and the fact that he wouldn't show up without a tank and SWAT team just proves it.
And why in the fuck would they use a SWAT team and a tank (a fucking TANK) to raid for some fighting cocks?
Don't get me wrong - I don't believe for a minute the birds were just for show, that many cocks screams cock fighter, but still, a fucking tank?

Little Bobbys' daddy

One day a fourth-grade teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living.
All the typical answers came up - fireman, mechanic, businessman, salesman...and so forth..
However, little Bobby was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the teacher prodded him about his father, he replied, "My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes to music in front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and stay with him all night for money."
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and took little Bobby aside to ask him, "Is that really true about your father?"
"No," the boy said, "He works for the Democratic National Committee and helped to get Obama elected, but it's too embarrassing to say that in front of the other kids."

Prosecutorial Discretion

Just a teaser for you but it's an article well worth reading if your way of thinking runs with mine.

If there are so many laws and so many crimes happening that prosecutors have to triage which incidents to move on and which ones to look the other way, then that points to more serious underlying problems (too many laws?). Whatever the supposed justification for the practice, I don’t see how empowering some ”top cop” to look the other way solves anything. I mean you could have, hypothetically, a perfect set of laws and a perfect police force, but if the D.A. gets to pick and choose, and he isn’t perfect, then none of the other stuff matters.

D.C. Purchases $29 Million Dollars Worth Of California Prunes

It's part of a federal program that helps protect U.S. farmers who grow highly nutritional products from lower-priced foreign imports.
The U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack on Tuesday announced the purchase of 25 tons of the fruit. The purchase is more than double the $11.7 million of fruit the government purchased last year.
The prunes, which are made from dried French D'Agen plums, will be shipped to food banks and nutrition programs across the country.
California grows 99 percent of the U.S. supply.

Well, shit me silly. Moochelle starts hyping up healthy eating and while taking a break from her vacations tells her ol' man to go buy a shitload (pun intended) of prunes but don't go a penny over 30 mil so we can give them away. What a great idea!
Kinda sorta reminds me of when I was in Amsterdam (never mind what for) about 30 years ago and my connection tour guide pointed out a warehouse where thousands of paintings were stored that the liberal Dutch government had bought from local artists because they weren't good enough for the art market.

Bacon. Mmmmm, bacon.....

Bored with marmalade, fed-up with chocolate spread?
Then have a big breakfast all in one go by spreading your morning toast with bacon jam.
The new barbecue-type preserve is made with smoked bacon, red onion, coffee, balsamic vinegar, garlic, spice – and whisky.
The first batch of more than 200 jars - costing £3.75 for 200g - sold out quickly at the grocery in Walthamstow, East London, where it was launched. Store co-owner Chris O’Connor, who developed the jam, said: “We’ve always sold homemade jam and crispy bacon so we thought we’d put the two together.”
His business partner James Brundle said: “It’s great on toast, with cheese, as a sauce, dip or cooking ingredient. We really think it will take off... it’s just getting people to try it.”
The jam will go on sale across London next month and, if it’s a hit, will be launched UK-wide.

Good. Take Holder and that punk Obama with you.

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Acting Director Kenneth Melson is being moved out of the top job at the bureau, ATF special agents in charge announced during an internal conference call today. He will transfer to the Justice Department and assume the position of senior advisor on forensic science, Office of Legal Programs.
(Scroll down to read Melson's letter.)
The DOJ announced Melson will be replaced by the U.S. Attorney for Minnesota, Todd Jones.
"As a seasoned prosecutor and former military judge advocate, U.S. Attorney Jones is a demonstrated leader who brings a wealth of experience to this position," said Attorney General Eric Holder.
Also, U.S. Attorney for Arizona Dennis Burke has submitted his resignation to President Obama, effective immediately. In an email sent to his staff Tuesday, Burke says his long tenure in public office has been intensely gratifying and intensely demanding.

Read Burke's resignation letter

Burke was interviewed by Congressional investigators behind closed doors on Aug. 18.
Sources tell CBS News that the Assistant U.S. Attorney in Phoenix, Emory Hurley, who worked under Burke and helped oversee the controversial case is also expected to be transferred out of the Criminal Division into the Civil Division. Justice Department officials provided no immediate comment or confirmation of that move.
The flurry of personnel shifts come as the Inspector General continues investigating the so-called gunwalker scandal at the Justice Department and theATF.

ATF promotes "Fast and Furious" supervisors

ATF denies promotions of controversial figures

The gunwalking scandal centered on an ATF program that allowed thousands of high-caliber weapons to knowingly be sold to so-called "straw buyers" who are suspected as middlemen for criminals. Those weapons, according to the Justice Dept., have been tied to at least 12 violent crimes in the United States, and an unknown number of violent crimes in Mexico.
Dubbed operation "Fast and Furious," the plan was designed to gather intelligence on gun sales, but ATF agents have told CBS News and members of Congress that they were routinely ordered to back off and allow weapons to "walk" when sold.
Previously, ATF Phoenix Special Agent in Charge Bill Newell was reassigned to headquarters, and two Assistant Special Agents in Charge under Fast and Furious, George Gillett and Jim Needles, were also moved to other positions.

Read Melson's memo below:
At noon today, I announced that I was leaving ATF for a position in the Office of Legal Policy at the Department of Justice. That position focuses on the development of forensic science policy and allows me to continue decades of work in that area.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing me the honor of serving as your Acting Director for the past 28 months. I take with me many fond memories of my time here at ATF and will remain forever humbled to have worked with such a group of dedicated professionals.
I am confident that the men and women who serve the Bureau are, individually, and more importantly, collectively very capable of overcoming the many challenges that are frequently placed in your way.
My one wish would be that the American people truly understood how dedicated and committed you are to the important mission of ATF and to the protection of the American people.
The list of those whose assistance was critical during my tenure is lengthy. I would simply like to thank each of you for your good counsel and support, your leadership, and, most importantly, your friendship --from all those I met in the field to the leadership team here in Headquarters.
My last request of you is to give your fullest support to the new Acting Director.
I look forward to hearing nothing but good news and great accomplishments from ATF. God Speed.
Ken Melson

Mommys' little angel

Time to man up

It's probably the wrong time to whine about how hard you have it at $174,000 a year

Everyone complains about their job now and then, and members of Congress are no exception.

A few lawmakers have suggested in recent months that despite a $174,000 annual salary, generous health care and pensions, and perks for things like travel and mail, being one of the elite 435 ain't always what it's cracked up to be. And when you calculate the hours they put in, the pay isn't stellar either, they say.
The Florida Capital News reported last week on a speech Steve Southerland, a Republican representative, gave to a retirement community in Tallahassee in which he complained about some of the parts of his new job:
"He said his $174,000 salary is not so much, considering the hours a member of the House puts in, and that he had to sever ties with his family business in Panama City. Southerland also said there are no instant pensions or free health insurance, as some of his constituents often ask him about in Congress.
"'And by the way, did I mention? They're shooting at us. There is law-enforcement security in this room right now, and why is that?" Southerland told about 125 people in an auditorium at the Westminster Oaks retirement community. "If you think this job pays too much, with those kinds of risks and cutting me off from my family business, I'll just tell you: This job don't mean that much to me. I had a good life in Panama City.'
"...He added that 'if you took the hours that I work and divided it into my pay,' the $174,000 salary would not seem so high."
Southerland, a freshman, ran a family funeral home business in Panama City and earned about $90,000 before joining Congress in January.
His sentiments were not unlike those expressed by Sean Duffy, a Republican representative from Wisconsin, when he said in March it was a "struggle" to pay his mortgage and student loans with his congressional salary. "At this point, I'm not living high on the hog," Duffy, a father of six, said. (Compared to his colleagues, Duffy is one of the least wealthy members of Congress.)
At the height of the debate over a possible government shutdown last spring, Linda Sánchez, a Democratic representative from California, said during an MSNBC interview that she was living "paycheck to paycheck" on her congressional salary. And she wasn't the only one. Renee Ellmers, a Republican representative from North Carolina, was asked if she would forgo her pay in the case of a shutdown. Ellmers declined, saying, "I need my paycheck."
Are times really so tough that even members of Congress are struggling to get by? The numbers suggest otherwise. A recent analysis of congressional pay found that members of Congress earn about 3.4 times the salary of the average American worker. Using that standard, members of Congress are among the highest paid legislators in the developed world.
This talk probably won't help Congress' approval rating. The federal government is the worst-rated industry in the country, viewed favorably by only 17 percent of Americans, according to a new Gallup survey.

The Obamessiah can't even wing it for 3 minutes?

President Obama required two heavy-duty teleprompters on Monday during a three-minute speech in which he nominated Alan Krueger to serve as chairman of his Council of Economic Advisers.
"I am very pleased to appoint Alan and I look forward to working with him," Obama said, staring at the large, flat-screen monitor to his right, then shifting his eyes to the teleprompter on his left. "I have nothing but confidence in Alan as he takes on this important role as one of the leaders of my economic team."
Krueger stood silently to the right of Obama as the president spoke. Krueger will replace Austan Goolsbee, who recently stepped down as chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers. A professor at Princeton University, Krueger served two years in the U.S. Treasury Department under Obama. He also served as chief economic adviser for the Labor Department during the Clinton administration.
Obama did not give Krueger a chance to make any comments on Monday.

RUN!!! The Feds are coming!!!

I'm sorry, but the expression on that little girls' face.....

Even his own people are starting to hate him

A new poll by CNN and ORC International finds that 27 percent of Democrats would like to see their party nominate a candidate other than Barack Obama for president in 2012.
In response to the question, "Do you think the Democratic party should renominate Barack Obama as the party's candidate for president in 2012, or do you think the Democratic party should nominate a different candidate for president in 2012?" -- 72 percent said they wanted to see Obama renominated. But 27 percent, slightly more than one in every four, said they wanted to see Democrats nominate a different candidate. One percent had no opinion.
The poll was taken August 24-25. In a survey taken in early August, 28 percent of Democrats said they wanted a different candidate. Polls taken in July and before showed Obama in a stronger position, with no more than 22 percent saying they preferred a different candidate. The current poll is based on interviews with 463 Democrats and has a margin of error of 4.5 percent.
The new poll is another indication of Democratic unhappiness with the president, but it does not mean Obama will face a challenge in his party's primaries. Despite the complaints of a few liberals like Sen. Bernard Sanders, the odds of a Democrat opposing the president appear to be something less than zero. But the new poll is still a matter of concern to Democrats, because it is yet another indication that there is significant disillusionment with the president within his own party. Whether those disaffected Democrats will come around to supporting Obama next year is an open question -- and perhaps the most worrying of the president's re-election bid.

Not Uncle Onyango!!!

Barack Obama’s illegal alien Uncle Onyango Obama was arrested in Massachusetts this past week after he hit a cop car. He wanted to call the White House.
Kerry Picket at The Washington Times reported:
A number of media outlets have already reported that an illegal immigrant from Kenya by the name of Onyango Obama, 67, was arrested last week on Wednesday after he rammed his SUV into a police car in Framingham, Massachusetts.
He was later charged with DUI among other violations. I spoke to Framingham Public Information Officer Lieutenant Delaney who told me that when Onyango Obama was asked at booking if he wanted to make a telephone call to arrange for bail, the Kenyan immigrant replied: “I think I will call the White House.”
The Boston Herald has more on the arrest.

Never Abandoned

A lone Tomb Sentinel, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), walks his tour in humble reverence during Hurricane Irene in Arlington National Cemetery, Va., Aug 27.

While Hurricane Irene bears down on much of the mid Atlantic states on its way north, and residents of the Washington, D.C. area have been advised to remain indoors, the elite soldiers who are the sentinels at Arlington Cemetery’s Tomb of the Unknowns remain at their posts.
Since taking over the mission on April 6, 1948, Tomb Sentinels from the Army’s 3rd Infantry Regiment’s “The Old Guard” have guarded the Tomb for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year regardless of the weather.
Sentinels trade off marching in front of the tombs that are the final resting place for unknown soldiers from World War I, World War II and the Korean War. The Changing of the Guard at the Tomb is a popular stop for Washington tourists.

Federal government to reimburse states for Irene damage

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Hurricane Irene could cost U.S. state and local governments billions of dollars in damages, but funds from the federal government might ultimately cover much of this expense.
It is too early to estimate the cost of the storm, but New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said New Jersey alone may have suffered tens of billions of dollars in damage.
The timing is terrible for municipalities as they dig their way out of their bleakest economic period in decades after the financial crisis and recession sank budgets and forced widespread cuts in expense and increased taxes.
*****
And you can bet your sweet redneck ass that those damages are gonna be hugely overestimated. That fucking punk Christie is already estimating tens of billions of dollars - that's a joke. If you bulldozed every square inch of New Jersey you'd be hard pressed to come up with 250 bucks worth of damage. I know, I've been there. Twice. Granted, it was just long enough to catch the very next flight out, but still....
Anyways, the Obamessiah and his boy start screaming wolf over a Category One storm and the millions of dollars and lives at risk, everybody freaks out, and when it's all said and done, the feds are gonna bail them out.
Now the headscratching begins and motherfuckers from the High Gov'ner His Ownself on down to the crackhead on the corner is going to start thinking of all the fucked up shit they had before the storm and now Uncle Barack is going to give them money for shit that wasn't worth much to begin with. Roof leaked during the storm? Here ya go.
Roads that were full of potholes got another one because of the storm? Can't be having that now, go repave that motherfucker and widen it while you're at it. We're buyin'.
Merchandise damaged at your used tire shop during the storm? Valued at $750,000? No problemo, Senor.
You lost business because of the storm? Gotcha covered, man.
Yeah, I can see it now. And every fucking nickel is going to come out of a treasury that was broken (blame Bush, blame Bush) long ago and fucking destroyed by Obamessiah and his gang of thieves. My line of thinking on this is that maybe they should've held off before announcing this. Granted, there was going to be some fleecing anyways but shit, let the waters recede before you start throwing our money away.
But the big question in my camel toe obsessed mind is this: What about letting the fucking insurance that everybody pays (including cities and counties/townships) handle it? I mean, that's what it's for right? But I can see their point too - the insurance companies are going to go crying to the feds for a bailout anyways, so why not just cut out the middle man?

The Pinkos are at it again - planning an "occupation" of Freedom Square in DC on 10/06

Thanks to Bill for kicking this to me.

Coyote bits from Steve

EASTERN COYOTES ARE DIFFERENT FROM YOUR WESTERN ONES.
When coyotes migrated east they circled around the Great Lakes. Along they way they picked up some wolf DNA. So says the Oct. 2010 issue of National Geographic.
That means is our coyotes are a bit larger than yours. The .223 is the smallest round local hunters use. More and more using the 6.5 & 6.8 mm rounds ... at least from AR platforms.
Still as crafty. Most suburban 'yotes don't howl. No sense in upsetting the local caterers.
The local bicycle trail is a major commuter route for the critters going from open areas in Loudoun County to the dumpster dense environs of Herndon and Reston.
Gun buddy set up an IR game camera to catch the snots running their motor bikes on the bike trail. Along with the punks he got good photos of 4-5 coyotes east bound in the evening and west bound
in early morning.
Early morning bicycle riders have gotten use to seeing a coyote or three sitting in the shadows waiting for the small yippy dogs to accompany their jogging humans. Sort of a buffet that comes to you.
A few weeks ago a pack tried to cut a small child away from a group of kids in a playground. The lone adult was on her Blackberry and it was a Labrador Retriever that busted up the pack. Needless to say that's one Lab who gets prime cut every night.
Our local Canadian Geese population has dropped significantly thanks to the coyotes fondness for their eggs. Oh, ya. Our Hispanic neighbors also do their bit do lower the goose population by eating adults.

WTF?

Obama goes to a primary school to talk to the kids to get a little PR. After his talk he offers question time. One little boy puts up his hand and Obama asks him his name.
" Walter," responds the little boy."And what is your question, Walter?
"I have 4 questions:
First, why did the USA Bomb Libya without the support of the Congress?
Second, why do you keep saying you fixed the economy when it's actually worse?
Third, why did you say that Jeremiah Wright was your mentor, then said that you knew nothing about his preachings and beliefs?
Fourth, why are we so worried about Brazil drilling for oil, but we aren't allowed to?"
Just then, the bell rings for recess. Obama informs the kiddies that they will continue after recess.
When they resume Obama says, "OK, where were we? Oh, that's right: question time.. Who has a question?"
Another little boy puts up his hand. Obama points him out and asks him his name.
"Steve," he responds.
"And what is your question, Steve?"
Actually, I have 6 questions.
First, why did the USA Bomb Libya without the support of the Congress?
Second, why do you keep saying you fixed the economy when it's actually worse?
Third, why did you say that Jeremiah Wright was your mentor, then said that you knew nothing about his preaching’s and beliefs?
Fourth, why are we so worried about Brazil drilling for oil, but we aren't allowed to?
Fifth, why did the recess bell go off 20 minutes early?
And sixth, what the FUCK happened to Walter?"

Norwegian Police Arrest Man for Stockpiling Weapons, Explosives
Norwegian police say they have arrested a right-wing extremist who has been stockpiling weapons and explosives at his home in Oslo, but has no connection to mass killer Anders Behring Breivik.
"The police have no information linking him to Breivik, but after the terrorist attacks, they did not want to take any risks and made the resources available to find this person as quickly as possible," the Daily Verdens Gang reports.
The man is being investigated for the "possession of unauthorized weapons, possession of explosives and making threats,” according to his lawyer, Vidar Lind Iversen.
Breivik killed 77 people on July 22 in a bombing in Oslo and shooting rampage on a nearby island, and has since confessed to the killings.

MIAMI (Reuters) - Tropical Storm Jose formed near Bermuda on Sunday, becoming the 10th named storm of the 2011 Atlantic hurricane season, U.S. forecasters said.
At 2 p.m. EDT, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said Jose was 60 miles west of Bermuda and churning northward over the central Atlantic Ocean. It posed no threat to the U.S. coast or to energy interests in the Gulf of Mexico.
The storm was packing top sustained winds of 40 mph and little change in strength was expected over the next 24 hours, the hurricane center said.
It said stiff winds were buffeting Bermuda, where Jose was expected to dump up to 3 inches of rain. But the storm was forecast to lose strength on Monday before dissipating as it takes a projected north-northeast track further out to sea.
Jose formed near the British territory on Sunday morning as Hurricane Irene, the first hurricane of the 2011 Atlantic season, hit New York after swirling up the U.S. East Coast from North Carolina, where it made landfall on Saturday.

Just a minor difference there, Stud.

LIBERALS AREN'T FUNNY, THEY'RE A RIOT!

Now if only he could do something to piss off all the racist negroes that voted for him because he's half black

WASHINGTON (AP) — Whites and women are a re-election problem for President Barack Obama. Younger voters and liberals, too, but to a lesser extent.
All are important Democratic constituencies that helped him win the White House in 2008 and whose support he’ll need to keep it next year.
-Women no longer are a bright spot for Obama.
At the 100-day mark of his presidency, they gave him significantly higher approval ratings than did men, 68 percent to 60 percent. That’s since fallen dramatically.
In the latest AP-GfK survey, less than half of all women and less than half of all men approve of the job Obama is doing. Just 50 percent of women said Obama deserves re-election.
Still, women are more likely than men to see Obama as empathetic or a strong leader, and they give him sharply higher positive ratings on his handling of the economy. Forty-three3 percent of women approve, compared with 29 percent of men.
-Younger voters and liberals are showing doubts about him, too.
Obama won younger voters in 2008 by a bigger margin than Democrat Bill Clinton in his victories in 1992 and 1996. But younger Democrats are no more apt to say the president deserves re-election than are older Democrats. Twenty-seven percent of Democrats under age 45 say Obama is not a strong leader, compared with 11 percent in June.
While a majority of liberals continue to say they view Obama as a strong leader, the strength of those opinions dropped sharply this summer. The share of liberals who say “strong leader” describes Obama “very well” has fallen from 53 percent to 29 percent in the aftermath of the debt-ceiling debate.
“Sometimes he needs to put his foot down and not be the nice guy,” said Democrat Kathleen Salak, 44, of Omaha, Neb.
The most recent AP-GfK poll was conducted Aug. 18-22 by GfK Roper Public Affairs and Corporate Communications. It involved landline and cellphone interviews with 1,000 adults nationwide and has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points.

Obama-Allied Center For American Progress Blames Rich Jews For Stoking “Islamophobia” In America…

(American Thinker) — The Obama-allied Center for American Progress has released a report that blames Islamophobia in America on a small group of Jews and Israel supporters in America, whose views are being backed by millions of dollars. This “network”, according to the news release, have “have worked hard to push narratives that Obama might be a Muslim, that mosques are incubators of radicalization, and that “radical Islam” has infiltrated all aspects of American society — including the conservative movement.
Who are the figures mentioned as the promoters of prejudice? Most of them are prominent Jews and supporters of Israel, such as David Horowitz, Daniel Pipes and Steven Emerson (the founder of the Investigative Project on Terrorism). The eight foundations mentioned as funding this effort include are almost exclusively ones founded and funded by Jewish donors, and lest readers not be aware of this fact, the Center for American Progress lists not only the other beneficiaries of the charities and foundations (most of them having Jewish or Israel in the title) but also goes to the trouble of naming the individuals behind these charities — not just the donors but also those who serve on the boards.
Why include this additional information except to highlight that Jewish people are behind this effort to “defame” Muslims? By “outing” the people involved, the report puts endangers them. Furthermore, this “report” relies on the conspiracy and age-old anti-Semitic trope that Jews fan prejudice towards others and promotes divisions for their own nefarious purposes (to support Israel in this case). This mindset is straight out of Mein Kampf.
The report also stokes the view that rich Jews operate behind the scenes and use their wealth to control the media and government policy (politicians are also mentioned as being ensnared in this web).
The Center for American Progress was founded by Herbert and Marion Sandler (prominent mortgage bubble billionaires who partner with George Soros in his political activities). The Center for American Progress to a great extent is funded by George Soros and his Open Society Institute. George Soros is a fierce opponent of Israel and alleges that the Israel “lobby” all but controls American foreign policy. This view is echoed by Stephen Walt who flags this report in his column at the Foreign Policy website.

I think phobia doesn't accurately describe what we're feeling here as the word basically means an "irrational fear".
I'm pretty sure that most Americans don't dislike (or hate, in my case) islam because they've been listening to a bunch of rich Jews. I think it might be because of a declared war by them against us, as well asTWO attacks on the World Trade Center, the Beirut barracks bombing, the bombing of the USS Cole, and numerous (way too fucking many to list here) terrorist attcks over the years.
Then you throw in the fact that they've not only pretty much taken over Europe and is trying to turn it into the same shit holes they came from and is going to do the same here and then you gotta wonder just what ISN'T there to hate about the motherfuckers?

Get your copy of the Constitution here

I read a LOT of blogs. Right Wing blogs. That being said, a common theme seems to be that the "leaders" of our Nation are ignoring the Constitution and Bill of Rights. While I don't disagree with that even a little bit, it raised a question in my mind:
How many people actually own a copy of them? And if you do, how often do you refer to it?
Hey, I'm not criticizing anybody here - we're all somewhat familiar with these documents, having studied them in high school and/or college - but how many folks have the means on hand to refresh their memories?
Let me put it this way: If you can't list and describe the first Ten Amendments, your memory needs a little help.
You can get this refresher by contacting the Heritage Foundation at www.heritage.org or call (800) 546-2843 and ordering your very own pocket sized copy of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Hit the Bookstore link to find it. Not only can can you get your own copy, but you'll get 9 more to give to friends, mail to the White House, whatever, and it'll only cost 10 bucks for a packet of 10 copies.
An added bonus is that when you do so, you'll probably be placed on a government terrorist watch list.

That did the trick

President Obama walks into the Bank of America to cash a check. As he approaches the cashier he says, "Good morning, Ma'am, could you please cash this check for me?"
Cashier: "It would be my pleasure, sir. Could you please show me your ID?"
Obama: "Truthfully, I did not bring my ID with me as I didn't think there was any need to. I am President Barrack H. Obama, president of the United States of America."
Cashier: "Yes, sir, I know who you are, but with all the regulations and monitoring of the banks because of imposters and forgers, etc., I must insist on seeing ID."

Obama: "Just ask anyone here at the bank who I am and they will tell you. Everybody knows who I am."
Cashier: "I am sorry, but these are the bank rules and I must follow them."
Obama: "I am urging you to please cash this check."
Cashier: "Look, sir, here's what we can do: one day Tiger Woods came into the bank without ID. To prove he was Tiger Woods he pulled out his putting iron and made a beautiful shot across the bank into a cup. With that shot we knew him to be Tiger Woods and cashed his check. So, what can you do to prove that you are really the President of the United States?"

Obama stood there thinking, and thinking, and finally says: "Honestly, there is nothing that comes to my mind. I can't think of a single thing."
Cashier: "Will that be large or small bills, Mr. President?"

Colorado's getting to be as bad as Kalifornia

Colorado Springs, CO.
An El Paso County jury on Friday awarded nearly $300,000 to the daughter of a burglar who was fatally shot in 2009 while breaking into an auto lot.
Parents of the victim, Robert Johnson Fox, embraced their attorneys after a judge announced the jury’s verdict, capping a two-week-long civil trial in which business owner Jovan Milanovic and two relatives were painted as vigilantes who plotted a deadly ambush rather than let authorities deal with a string of recent burglaries.
Phillip and Sue Fox, who filed suit for wrongful death in 2010 on behalf of Fox’s 3-year-old daughter, called the jury’s award a victory in their fight to seek accountability for the death of their son, who they say never posed a threat to the heavily armed men.
“Rob was in the wrong place doing the wrong thing, but the punishment didn’t fit the crime,” Sue Fox said afterward. “I can’t excuse his actions, but he didn’t deserve to be executed.”
The exact amount of the award was $269,500, for factors such as loss of companionship and loss of future earnings. The family will also be awarded some of the costs associated with the more than yearlong legal battle.
The jury of three men and three women deliberated for 2½ days over closely contested testimony about the predawn shooting on April 19, 2009.
Fox, 20, was shot after he and a friend scaled a fence to get inside Southwest Auto Sales at 2444 Platte Place in the city’s Knob Hill neighborhood. According to the accomplice, Brian Corbin, they had smoked methamphetamine and were looking to steal anything to buy more drugs.
Corbin testified he saw two armed men charge out of a building and run in their direction, one of them shouting “we’re gonna get you” in an obscenity-laced threat. Corbin, who escaped by climbing over a car and jumping a fence, said he felt a bullet pass by him as someone fired four gunshots.
Fox was standing inside a small shed when a .45-caliber rifle bullet passed through the shed’s door and pierced his heart.
Police said in a 145-page investigative report that the intruder had knives in his pockets and one strapped to his ankle, but never posed a threat to Milanovic or the other men, his father Ljuban Milanovic and brother-in-law Srdjan Milanovic.
The men are refugees who came to the United States from the former Yugoslavia in 1998.

Go blame your own people, Phil.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - President Felipe Calderon declared three days of mourning on Friday and demanded a crackdown on drugs in the United States after armed men torched a casino in northern Mexico, killing at least 52 people.
Under intense pressure as violence soars, Calderon said he would send more federal security forces to the city of Monterrey, where gunmen set fire to an upmarket casino on Thursday in one of the worst attacks of Mexico's drugs war.
Lashing out at corrupt officials in Mexico and "insatiable" U.S. demand for drugs for fomenting the violence, Calderon urged Congress to stamp out drug consumption and stop illegal trafficking of weapons across the border into Mexico.
"We're neighbors, we're allies, we're friends, but you are also responsible," a somber and angry Calderon said to the United States in a speech after meeting his security advisers.

I hate this bastard

TEHRAN — An Iranian official has announced once again that U.S. filmmaker Michael Moore plans to visit Iran in autumn.
“He has asked [for permission] to travel to Iran, and we are trying to invite him to the Cinéma Vérité,” Deputy Culture Minister for Cinematic Affairs Javad Shamaqdari said during a meeting at the Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC) in Tehran on Wednesday.
The Cinéma Vérité is an Iranian international festival for documentary films, which is organized by the DEFC.
“Michael Moore has said that he has watched some Iranian films, which were very special for him,” Shamaqdari said.
“He said that he has never had such an image of Iran as was shown in the films, and that he was astonished to see Iranian youth skiing and going to coffee shops,” he added.
“He has said that he wants to visit Iran to do research about the country. In addition, he is an opponent of U.S. government policies and he wants to show his objection by traveling to Iran,” Shamaqdari stated.

Maybe the motherfucker can reminence with Hanoi Jane about their experiences while enjoying a post-coital cigarette.
When I did a google search for the picture, I saw one with him waving a little American flag. No fucking way in hell would I disgrace our Nations' flag like that.
So I picked the one I did solely because after picture #3 I was already sick of looking at his face.
