Just a conservative girl

Found another good blog today while chasing another link and added her to my blog roll. Here's a sample of her postings:
Not that I have first hand experience in getting a tax refund this year, but since close to 50% don't pay income taxes (Which means that you wrote a check to the IRS) and did get a return. Some even chose to get a check back instead of direct deposit. In case you are not one of those people, let me fill you in on what the government informs you of when you get that check.
MyMoney.gov is the U.S. government's website dedicated to teaching all Americans the basics about financial education. Whether you are buying a home, balancing your checkbook, or investing in your 401(k), the resources on MyMoney.gov can help you maximize your financial decisions. Throughout the site, you will find important information from 20 Federal agencies and Bureaus designed to help you make smart financial choices.
That's right, the federal government is going to teach you about financial responsibility. What could go wrong?
