They call me "El Gato......"

I don't think I'd want to fuck with anybody that can bounce off a windshield, land on his feet and walk away.

  1. Damn, how fast was that car going? And the trick was jumping up. Armadillos do that too, but they just take out your grill and radiator.

  2. Think it's fake. Windshield broken upon impact, no cracks afterward. Clear as a bell

  3. Fake? Did you notice the windshield is not cracked after he's standing?

  4. Or the camera shifted away from the broken glass.

  5. Sounded like a ford police interceptor engine. I wonder if he had his lights going, there are obviously no sirens. The police should obey the speed limit just like I have to, unless they have lights AND sirens going.

  6. I'm chalking this one up to pure luck. Even jumping up like that to avoid getting knee-capped.

I look at it this way: if you are running full tilt across a parking lot and trip such that you are flying through the air headed for an 'ultimate face plant/powerslide-road-rash' landing, you WILL most likely receive said road rash. However, every once in a while you have the presence of mind to pull your shoulder in 'just right' to execute a perfect 'tuck-n-roll'.

Most of the time this will save your skin (literally!), but result in you 'rolling out' on the ground. But every once in a while you execute the maneuver so perfectly that you also position your feet such that you can use the momentum to get right back up and keep running without missing a step.

I see that here. 9 times out of ten even jumping to avoid the bumper would result in a 'chip-shot' off the windshield. This guy was just lucky enough that he landed in such a way as to 'roll' the energy out of the impact instead of getting launched like a baseball off a bat and landing in a heap like a ruptured duck.

Just my .00000002 (fucking currency devaluation!)

  7. I hear the sound of the car, the sound of the impact, but where's the voice yelling "Oh Fck!" as this was definitely an Oh F moment?
