  1. My thoughts are with you and your family. Hugs and prayers to all Veterans, here and abroad, living and passed.

You define the word "hero" while never claiming it for yourself.

  2. God bless your, Pops, WC, and every blessed veteran who fought for this Country. My family has fought in every war going back to the American Revolution. On this day, I give humble remembrance to all who have ever worn the uniform with honor and distinguished our Country on the battlefield. God Bless.

  4. You said he was a tool and die maker. I am a state certified tool and die and moldmaker. God bless your dad and know that it hurts to see that we are a dying breed.

  5. Yup, master tool & die maker. You're right, with the advent of CNC machines, T&D makers are 1 generation from being a dead trade.

  6. So many veterans are not given the respect they deserve. If it wasn't for their sacrifice things would be a lot different.

  7. A mere "thank you" just doesn't seem enough for our vets, but don't they shine when they hear those two words?

So, to all the vets reading, a sincere and heartfelt thank you. Without you, there would be no US. (Corny, yet true).

  8. I know this aint a discusion forum but I gotta say that I'm being called a redneck lately by people who coincidently stop by to get cars or plumbing fixed. At least my two sons are in the know and have their shit together.

  11. Ah, you'd have loved him, Sam. A hard, hard man to most that knew him, but a fair and honest man that loved his Nation and all She stands for.
