Stupid fucker

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A hiker in Alaska's Denali National Park photographed a grizzly bear for at least eight minutes before the bear mauled and killed him in the first fatal attack in the park's history, officials said Saturday.
Investigators have recovered the camera and looked at the photographs, which show the bear grazing and not acting aggressively before the attack, Denali Park Superintendent Paul Anderson said.
The hiker was backpacking alone along the Toklat River on Friday afternoon when he came within 50 yards of the bear, far closer than the quarter-mile of separation required by park rules, officials said.
"They show the bear grazing in the willows, not acting aggressive in any form or manner during that period of time," Anderson said.
Investigators have identified the man but won't release his name until they've notified his family. They said he's a U.S. citizen but declined to release any other information about him. Rangers were hoping to recover his remains later Saturday after ensuring the scene was safe. Several other bears have been seen in the area.
Officials learned of the attack after hikers stumbled upon an abandoned backpack along the river about three miles from a rest area on Friday afternoon. The hikers also spotted torn clothing and blood. They immediately hiked back and alerted staff park.
Rangers in a helicopter spotted a large male grizzly bear sitting on the hiker's remains, which they called a "food cache" in the underbrush about 100 to 150 yards from the site of the attack on Friday. A state trooper shot and killed the bear on Saturday, and investigators will examine its stomach contents and use other tests to confirm it's the animal that killed the hiker.
There's no indication that the man's death was the result of anything other than a bear attack, investigators said, adding that it's the first known fatal mauling in the park's nearly century-long history.

To Serve and..... shoot innocent folks

NEW YORK (AP) — All nine people injured during a dramatic confrontation between police and a gunman outside the Empire State Building were wounded by gunfire from the two officers, police said Saturday, citing ballistics evidence.
The veteran patrolmen who opened fire on the suit-clad gunman, Jeffrey Johnson, had only an instant to react when he whirled around and pointed a .45-caliber pistol at them as they approached him from behind on a busy sidewalk.
Officer Craig Matthews shot seven times, and Officer Robert Sinishtaj fired nine times, police said. Neither had ever fired their weapons before on a patrol.
The volley of gunfire felled Johnson in just a few seconds and left nine other people bleeding on the sidewalk.
In the initial chaos Friday, it wasn't clear whether Johnson or the officers were responsible for the trail of the wounded, but based on ballistic and other evidence, "it appears that all nine of the victims were struck either by fragments or by bullets fired by police," Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly told reporters Saturday at a community event in Harlem.

What a bunch of fucking idiots. Fifty years ago the guy would have been taken down with 1 or 2 shots from a beat cops' trusty Colt 38 and that would've been the end of the story.
Now you've evidently got a firearms training program that encourages the time proven 'Spray-n-Pray' technique and a POS PC mayor and Chief of Police that are undoubtedly going to give out some serious commendations to the two idiots shooting innocent bystanders.

My rant(s) for the day

Okay. Funeral and military graveside services are set for Saturday. Non-gay looking floral arrangements are taken care of. The jap car has been washed. Hospice stuff was picked up within hours of Pops' death. His obituary has been written. Condolences have been given and received and more fucking casseroles have been delivered than I thought possible. About the only thing I can think of is his marker - I'm going to try to sweet talk Mom into making sure there's a "III" on that motherfucker somewhere.

Now I'm fixing to go off: Casseroles. Jesus Christ..... What the fuck is it about casseroles and deaths? Are they trying to kill more of us off? Don't get me wrong - I do appreciate a good casserole occasionally. Occasionally. But when you're looking at 4 or 5 of those motherfuckers with a combined weight of 38.6 pounds...... Surely all those kind folks (and I am thankful for their generous hearts) didn't think 'Hmmm, I bet nobody bought Mrs. Lane a casserole today' did they? Ladies, we appreciate the thought but not the casserole.
Check this shit out - you want to bring something that is really gonna be appreciated? Bring a party tray of meats and cheeses. A couple of pizzas. Some hash brownies. Some fresh fruit kicks ass right then. Some venison jerky or some smoked fish would be tasty. Ice cream. Pleasure food, you know? Something filling, nourishing, tasty and quick.
I saw this shit coming and immediately distanced myself from any casseroles. As I said, I do appreciate a good casserole so I ate some of my first casserole last night - Aunt Fran's World Famous Enchilada Casserole and I'm fixing to have some more in a bit. It's world famous for a reason.... but had I been eating casseroles all along I'd be gagging them up by now.

And as long as I'm ranting let's talk about motherfuckers wanting to hug on me. My line of thinking is that if you won't hug on me any other time then keep your goddamned hands off me now.
Picture this: I'm sitting in Pop's chair (and there ain't a fucking thing he can do about it now) feeding a casserole to the dog and watching Predator Quest, not bothering nobody, and just as Les Johnson's about to make a spectacular shot, some woman I haven't even met comes up and throws her fucking arms around me and says "You must be Kenneth. I know how you feel, you poor thing."
No you don't, Godammit. You just made me miss his fucking shot. Get the fuck away from me.
I'm serious, man. I got relatives I haven't seen in 30-40 years coming up and hugging on me. There's a reason I haven't seen these motherfuckers in 30-40 years - it's because I don't like them. Can't they take a fucking hint? If I saw them on the street I wouldn't even acknowledge their existence, but now it's okay to hug on me? Again, get the fuck away from me. And stay away. I don't like strangers putting their hands on me, I won't tolerate letting people I don't like near me.
And one more thing before I go off on another tangent - If you do hug on me and happen to run across a knife or two and a firearm, try to keep it to yourself, yeah? Godammit, if you think you know me well enough to be hugging on me then you damned sure oughta know I'm carrying some weaponry. And believe me, everybody else in the room has already felt me up and is well aware of the fact that I have a gun on me and you know what? They don't fucking care. They're still there, ain't they? Fuck, if the law was to break in and search everybody in that house, they'd find 90% of the adults and maybe even a couple of the youngsters are carrying a gun too. Big deal. Shut the fuck up about it.

Okay. I'm done. Thank God for xanax.

Obama's poll numbers come out

Gotta go to BoilerDoc's for your political shits & giggles today.

In Honor of Neil Armstrong

I stole this picture from Irish a long time ago, one of those things that I just knew would come in handy one day. Thanks, Bro.

Hell Yeah!

Something that I've noticed lately is the number of American flag stickers I'm seeing on the cars and trucks driven by hispanic Americans.
Granted, the younger males are still flying their mexican flag stickers and their stupid looking little window flags, but man, a lot of the guys in their 30s and older are flying Old Glory.
I realize that a lot of these guys may be returning Vets and they have a stronger sense of Duty Honor Country, but damn, it does my evil black heart good to see this.

Neil Armstrong dead at 82

Former U.S. astronaut, Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, has died at the age of 82, U.S. media reported on Saturday.
Armstrong underwent a heart-bypass surgery earlier this month, just two days after his birthday on August 5, to relieve blocked coronary arteries.
As commander of the Apollo 11 mission, Armstrong became the first human to set foot on the moon on July 20, 1969. As he stepped on the moon’s dusty surface, Armstrong said: “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”
The Apollo 11 moon mission turned out to be Armstrong’s last space flight. The following year he was appointed to a desk job, being named NASA’s deputy associate administrator for aeronautics in the office of advanced research and technology.

Man, I can still remember that night when I was 10, sitting outside in Germany looking up at the moon going "No fucking way, man..."
A real American Hero - a man that took a step into the unknown for our great Nation.
And yes, I talked like that when I was 10 and got the asswhippings to prove it.

And the gunman never got off a shot......

New York (CNN) -- A disgruntled former apparel designer was killed Friday morning in a hail of police gunfire in front of the Empire State Building after he shot and killed a co-worker and engaged in a gunbattle with two officers, authorities said.
Police officers fired a total of 16 rounds; one officer shot nine while another one shot seven, the New York Police Department said.
An investigation is under way, authorities said.
The violence erupted just as visitors began to queue up to ascend the famous New York skyscraper in one of Manhattan's busiest neighborhoods.
Police identified the shooter as 58-year-old Jeffrey Johnson, who was apparently laid off from his job as a designer of women's accessories at Hazan Import last year.
"We have on tape the perpetrator pulled his gun out and tried to shoot at the cops," Mayor Michael Bloomberg said. "Whether he got off any bullets or not, to be determined."
Now for the money shot:
Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said the bystanders were not hit directly by police, but rather the officers' struck "flowerpots and other objects around, so ... their bullets fragmented and, in essence, that's what caused the wounds."
Now here's a video of the shooting where you can see the gunman shot down by the worst trained policemen in the entire fucking world.
God, I feel so sorry for the folks just on the other side of the gunman......

Hey, y'all want to see something hilarious, go over to IRISH'S and check the video of the lady talking to the coyotes with a saw and bow. She got a big of a kick out of it as I did.
Thanks, Irish!

On second thought.....

Lisa went into a shop this afternoon to pick something up so I bought something also. When we got home, I opened the package and found that the trinket I bought was broken so I grabbed the reciept and headed back down for an exchange. No big deal, shit happens, you know?
I explained to the owner the problem, gave him the reciept and smiled. He then pointed to the sign that said "No refunds or exchanges".
I quit smiling. "Naw, you don't want to be pissing me off now, man."
"Is that a threat you are making, Boss?"
"Yup. Uh-huh." I was looking around for shit to start breaking.
"Perhaps we can work something out. After all, it is not your fault." Turns out Hari the Hindu was a pretty reasonable guy after all.

YES!!!! The muslims are back!

It's been quite some time since I've gotten any hate emails or shitty comments or even a death threat from my muslim readers and I was beginning to wonder if maybe it's time for me to unleash a new tirade against the baby-raping false prophet.
No need to now, I've gotten 2 nasty comments in as many days on this post HERE.
Life is good again.

Big surprise! Deportation stats inflated.

The Republican chairman of the House Judiciary Committee is charging that the Obama administration has “falsified” deportation records to artificially boost numbers — a move critics of the Homeland Security Department have long suspected.
Rep. Lamar Smith, the Texan who runs the committee, said the Obama administration has for the past several years been mixing some Border Patrol apprehensions with the deportation statistics from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the agency chiefly responsible for interior enforcement and for deporting aliens.
His investigation found that when the Border Patrol numbers are subtracted, deportations actually have gone down every year since Mr. Obama first took office in 2009, dropping from about 395,000 that year to about 330,000 in 2011.
And 2012 is shaping up to have even fewer deportations once the Border Patrol figures are subtracted, the committee said.
“It is dishonest to count illegal immigrants apprehended by the Border Patrol along the border as ICE removals,” Mr. Smith said. “These ‘removals’ from the Border Patrol program do not subject the illegal immigrant to any penalties or bars for returning to the U.S. This means a single illegal immigrant can show up at the border and be removed numerous times in a single year — and counted each time as a removal.”

I'm shocked! The Obama administration is lying to us? Nooooooo.......
Sorry, but when I read in the paper that somebody was arrested for drug trafficking and has been deported 5 times already and was then turned over to ICE for deportation again...... I start to wonder why they even bother.

Yup, our mexican allies......

Three U.S. Marines were injured in a shooting south of Mexico City on Friday morning, a Mexican military official told CNN Mexico.
The motive behind the attack on the American servicemen, who were on a diplomatic mission, was not immediately known.
Unknown gunmen inside what was described as a Mexican federal police vehicle fired upon a U.S. Embassy vehicle that carried the U.S. servicemen, said the official, who declined to be named for security reasons.
The injured Marines were transported to a hospital in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

Why do we even have diplomats or escorts in Mexico? The motherfuckers hate us (look back at the videos of Mexicans cheering on 9-11), they're doing everything they can to destroy us with their drugs, they're undermining our economy with illegal immigration that the mexican governement encourages and they throw their soiled toilet paper on the floor instead of flushing it.
Why don't we just pull out of there and let that fucking sewer just implode on itself?

To Serve and....... Protect?

NEW YORK (AP) -- A women's accessories designer fatally shot a vice president of the company that laid him off near the Empire State Building Friday, causing a chaotic showdown with police in front of one of the world's best-known landmarks. Police killed the suspect and at least nine others were wounded, some by stray police gunfire, city officials said.

Kelly said authorities believe police may be responsible for some of the injuries because of the limited capacity of the gunman's weapon.

You know, I could talk about how Bloomberg is a fucking idiot and how his paranoia and fear of evil guns has caused his police department to become afraid of and unfamiliar with the tools they use and because of that they've turned into the Keystone Kops, but I don't need to...... the article says that rather nicely.
Next Bloomberg is going to rail against anything more than a slingshot in order to prevent his officers from shooting more innocent people.

Now prepare to be boarded, asshole.

Aw, togetherness......

The past couple of days here

Well, it's been a couple of days since I lost my Pops. Yes, it's sad but on the other hand you get to experience another part of life.

Thank God for my Uncle Ed. He's been like a fucking Rock through all this. Every time I went to Pops in the last days, he was either there already or just arriving. He's a hard motherfucker too - I ain't never seen that man shook up, even when he personally turned off the life support for his son after a car accident a few years back.

There's a bunch of shit that goes along with all that and it has to be done when you're at your lowest, right after you lost a loved one. Obviously it's a loved one, otherwise they'd just be chained up and deposited in a reservoir like...... never mind.
The family went to the mortuary and cemetery yesterday to make arrangements and I had a blast. I raided the candy jars in every room, tried to sneak a camel toe picture of one of the receptionists, passed out xanax to everybody in the room even offering some to the 'bereavement' dudes and babe - they refused and they were the ones that needed it the most - and was finally threatened with an escort when they caught me and Ed wandering the halls looking for the room they keep the dead dudes in. Them motherfuckers need to get a sense of humor, man.

I woke up this morning to a text from my little brother threatening me with a restraining order because I jerked his ass up short right after Pops died for being disrespectful. No, I did not break his rib like he claimed, I didn't thump him that hard. Fucking drama queen......

I took a couple weeks off work. Mom held the funeral off until the 1st so that we could get all of his family and friends here from all over the world. Some of these motherfuckers I haven't seen since I was a pup, so it's going to be interesting. Bunch of old dudes sitting around, drinking whiskey, telling war stories, trying to make everybody else believe that if only Westmoreland had just listened to him..... it's gonna be great.

So yeah, we all know life sucks and sometimes life kicks your ass. But if you don't stand up to it, deal with it and move on, then that's a lick on you.

It's true, I'm a pig.

To help keep my mind off recent personal events I have undertaken cleaning out my gun safe.
Bad, bad fucking idea.
How bad can it be, you ask? Well, I have a small 9 rifle safe, measures about 18"x18"x4.5', fits nicely into my closet. How much shit can you cram in there, you ask? You wouldn't fucking believe it. Shit, I can't fucking believe it.
In the bottom of the safe I had my rifles and shotguns, 500 rounds of 41 magnum, 250 rounds of 45 ACP (running low there), 100 rounds of buckshot and 2000 rounds of 22LR, and a double fistful of 38 Special for my pocket rocket. Also had a dehumidifier, 3 loaded magazines of 223 for my Mini 14, a Ka-Bar and a multi-tool. I know that doesn't sound too bad until you considered that all that ammo was all bagged and mixed up in the bottom of the safe, piled around rifle muzzles.

I haven't even tackled the top shelf yet but just peering in there I can see car titles, a couple of my best skinning knives, a bunch of expired credit cards, personal checks, another multi-tool, an 1899 Indian Head penny, a deck of John Wayne playing cards, a set of allen wrenches, Punkindog's old collar, a bag full of coyote teeth, a flashlight, a cleaning kit, something turning green and I know for a fact I have several handguns (I hope that ain't what's turning green) and another fighting knife somewhere back there. I also know there's a stack of III patches as well as a shitload of Zoomie stickers in there because I ran across those the other day looking for a whetstone. Oh yeah, there's a whetstone in there. I think.

I'm thinking I need to get another safe - one for firearms and one for precious junk and ammo.

Raub freed by Judge

HOPEWELL, Va. (WTVR) – A Hopewell circuit court judge has ordered that a Marine veteran detained over anti-government Facebook posts be released from a psychiatric hospital.
CBS 6 News’ Catie Beck said the Judge Allan Sharrett dismissed the case Thursday against Brandon Raub. The judge said the original petition for Raub’s detention contained no facts. In other words, there was no information on why Raub was being held — and the judge deemed this violated his civil liberties.
As a result, the judge ruled the government had no grounds to hold Raub.
Beck said the judge is in the process of writing an order for Raub’s release. He is has been released from the hospital in Salem, Virginia Thursday afternoon and is headed home to Chesterfield.
The decorated U.S. Marine veteran was questioned by FBI agents about his Facebook postings and then hauled away from his Chesterfield County home in handcuffs last Thursday.
CBS 6 checked his criminal history and found it to be clean. And Brandon Raub’s mother told CBS 6 News’ Mark Holmberg that her son he had no mental health history. [READ MORE: Mother of detained Marine vet says he’s a patriot, not a threat]
“He never was violent or psychotic or anything like that,” Cathleen Thomas told CBS 6. “There were just conversations we had back and forth, very deep.”

Immigration officers file suit against Big Sis

Ten federal immigration agents have filed suit against Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano claiming recent directives are forcing them to break the law and ignore their duties when it comes to deporting illegal immigrants.
The suit was filed Thursday in Texas federal court by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. It challenges recent directives allowing some illegal immigrants -- particularly non-felons and those who came to the U.S. as children -- to stay and, in some cases, get work permits.
The suit, obtained by Fox News, says the agents are being forced to "violate federal law." It says the new directive "unconstitutionally usurps and encroaches upon the legislative powers of Congress." ICE Director John Morton is also named as a defendant.
Kris Kobach, lead attorney on the case, equated the move to give thousands of illegal immigrants a reprieve to the failed Fast and Furious gun-walking operation.
"In both instances, the Obama administration ordered federal law enforcement agents to break the law, to ignore the laws that they're supposed to enforce, and, in the case of the ICE agents, to actually break federal laws that say you're supposed to deport certain people," he said. "And in each case, the Obama administration seems to be doing so for political reasons."

So how's that Hope & Change working out for you?

Cheryl Preston knows that others are worse off. But she's still hungry.
As grocery prices creep higher and her income sags, rationing her family's food is a daily task. The 54-year-old mother of three and grandmother of three in Roanoke, Va., says there are days she skips meals so her husband and son can eat. If they notice, she says, she'll let them think she's fasting. She waters down the milk and juice to make it last longer. She visits food pantries, but it's not enough.
"Who would think that in the land of plenty, hard-working families would go hungry? But I am living proof it is true," Preston writes in a first-person account for Yahoo!.
In the last three years, she hasn't been able to replace a $500 loss in monthly income. Her husband's job can't always guarantee 40 hours a week; his second job lasted only through Christmas. So mealtime suffers: Her family eats in one day what they used to eat at one meal. Often, they manage on a nearly barren cupboard for five or six days until the next pay day. They sometimes skip family gatherings at restaurants because they can't pay the tab.
"It is distressing," Preston writes.

Not much has changed since '36, huh?

Well, she's lost for the day.

Whew. They're starting back up again. I was getting worried.

More entertainment from my Big Bad Wolf post.
I swear, I get more fun from that post than any other one. I shoot start posting pictures of people skinning wolves out next, maybe an instructional video. I could use a coyote, but they wouldn't know the difference. Imagine the looks on their faces when I drop the gut sac and CharlieGodammit runs off with it, dragging entrails all over the yard in the backround.

I hope you are killing these on a basis such as in your local area. DO NOT kill a growing population. Lastly I hope you are doing it where this is legal. Because if you aren't you may end up with a federal offense.

Anonymous, just where in the fuck did you read in the post that I was the one doing the hunting? All I did was post some pictures of hunters in IDAHO where it is legal. Didn't you read the article or post title at all?
Yeah. Picking up a federal beef really freaks me out. Whoa.
And yes, you DO hunt a growing population - it's called culling and is a necessary tool for game management.
Jesus Christ, the ignorance of you people never ceases to amaze me.

I lost my Pops last night, folks.

It's with great sadness and sorrow that I spread the word of my father's death last night.
He left this cruel ol' world the same way he lived his life - with dignity. He was surrounded by family and I had the honor of holding his hand while he passed from this life.
My father was a Soldier and a III Percenter til the day he died and will be missed by all that knew him.
I'd appreciate your thoughts and prayers for my Mom and nieces and nephew.

NDAA in action

Below is the full text of the press release issued by the Rutherford Institute, which is defending former Chesterfield Marine Brandon Raub:

CHESTERFIELD, VA— The Rutherford Institute has come to the defense of a former Marine, 26-year-old Brandon Raub, who was arrested, detained indefinitely in a psych ward and forced to undergo psychological evaluations based solely on the controversial nature of lines from song lyrics, political messages and virtual card games which he posted to his private Facebook page. Although the FBI and Chesterfield County police have not charged Brandon Raub, a resident of Chesterfield County, Va., with committing any crime, they arrested Raub on Thursday, August 16, 2012, and transported him to John Randolph Medical Center, where he was held against his will due to alleged concerns that his Facebook (FB) posts were controversial and "terrorist in nature." In a hearing held at the hospital, government officials disregarded Raub's explanation that the Facebook posts were being interpreted out of context, sentencing him up to 30 days' further confinement in a VA psych ward. In coming to Raub's defense, Rutherford Institute attorneys are challenging Raub's arrest and forcible detention, as well as the government's overt Facebook surveillance and violation of Raub's First Amendment rights.
