Read the Declaration of Independence

To all,
Read the Declaration of Independence.
Read it.
Carefully.
When you do, you will obtain a glimpse of what our Founding Fathers were going through, the frustrations that drove them to war, and the reasons why they pledged their "lives", their "fortunes" and their "sacred honor".  For what?  A free country where everyone was endowed by God with "unalienable rights" including "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness".
Read it.
You will find the enumerated frustrations that drove them to produce the most glorious country that God has ever allowed to exist and you will find how they felt about the tyrannical British government.  They were so oppressed that their view of the King of Great Britain was:
"A prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."
At what point do the patriots of this country determine that someone who lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue can be defined as such because of what he has advocated and promulgated?  Has he refused "to assent to laws"?  Has he "obstructed the administration of justice"?  May he "render the military independent of and superior to civil power"?  Does he have plans for Americans to "become the executioners of their friends and brethren"?
How did those like George Washington and Samuel Adams respond?  Just like the Israelites as described in the Old Testament.  When the Israelites prayed before going to war, they won.  Always.  Our Founding Fathers appealed to "the Supreme Judge of the world."  They went forward "with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence"and the rest is history.
What would happen if.........the millions of God-fearing patriots came together, prayed for His protection, His wisdom and His strength to "impel them to the separation".  On which side would God be on?  Would the military back the narcissistic tyrant or those who desire freedom?  Would you be willing to battle the government to procure a place where liberty reigned supreme?
That is why the Second Amendment was included.  To battle tyrants with their firearms which, when tyrannical despots attempted to oppress them, became weapons of defense.  Today, firearms in the hands of God-fearing patriots, are defense weapons, not assault weapons irrespective of their appearance.
Read the Declaration of Independence and discover how closely we are to the "destructive" government that caused our Founding Fathers to dispel tyranny and build the finest society known to man.
