I'm taking a break here for at least a couple days

Lisa and myself are fine but we've had a medical emergency in the family. Out of consideration for Lisa, I don't want to disclose what it is, but we spent all day down in Nashville at the hospital Wednesday so I didn't get a chance to schedule anything for today, and I'm going to be at the hospital again Thursday so that shoots Friday's posts in the ass too. I may give you a status update Friday, I don't know. We'll see how it rolls.
I need to be there for my wife. Family first, right?
I'll let y'all know what's going on when I can, but until then I beg your patience and understanding. I'd appreciate some prayers for Lisa too, she really needs them at this time.
Thank you.

  23. Hi Ken,

Prayers you and Lisa have in abundance. You know we are with you. You also know how to reach out if I can do anything personally.

I read this earlier today and it seems appropriate to pass on.

2 Corinthians 9:8  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

    God bless,

    Andy

    1. Ken, I know how things like health related problems can cause a heavy heart, and overwhelm all else. I hope that you can see, from the many people who have written here, that both you and Miss Lisa are loved like a brother and sister to all of us. And that we are all praying for you both. John wrote this to a man named Gaius, who he was hoping to visit. It is from the very short letter called 3rd John. 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. I have a daughter, 23 years old, who is currently in a hospital, for some mental health issues. So trust me, I have been relying on the Lord a lot over the last few days. I will pray for both you and Miss Lisa, that you both are held in the safe and loving hands of God.
I want everyone reading this to know that Ken reached out to me, when the dams broke in my state of Michigan, just checking to make sure I was safe. I am just a nobody, but to have Ken do that, touched my heart, and told me yet again, what kind of man Wirecutter is. I know he didn't ask, but I am sending him a small donation, to help with extra gasoline or other expenses that come up during this time of trouble. He is a good man, married to a good woman.
