SCOTUS Gun Case Denials Signal Conservative Justices Don’t Trust Roberts With The Second Amendment

The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to pass on nearly a dozen gun-rights-related cases is breathtaking, not in the denial of hearing any, but in the seeming admission that the conservative associate justices think Chief Justice John Roberts can’t be trusted to protect the Bill of Rights.

The nation’s top court denied writ of certiorari to 10 cases. The National Shooting Sports Foundation, the firearm industry trade association, submitted amicus curiae briefs in two of those cases.

  1. I think the deepstate has something on Roberts. Remember Obama stated that he had the Supreme Court investigated, Then you have Roberts Convoluted Obambicare decision then this latest decision. That's one reason Ginsburg is hanging around she goes and trump is still president then another supposed conservative takes that seat. Then regardless of how Roberts votes if all the so-called conservative stay together it is 5-4 the other way and his votes becomes meaningless.

  2. I love hearing all the great excuses conservatives come up with to fail, even when they are in the majority.

  3. As I understand it, he was drafting a majority opinion to strike down Obamacare when he suddenly 180-ed, to the point where the remaining Conservative judges were so shocked and angry they didn't speak to him for months.

The Left has something on him.

    1. Soooooooo. If the Chief Justice is locked up for sex with a minor, does that mean we don't have to wait for RBG to kick off? (Asking for a friend.)

    2. Actually, Roberts, RBG and Sotomayor should all come to a Texas ranch for a vacation. But not the one Scalia went to.

  6. The four liberals might as well be locked together - they vote as a bloc. It's just a question which squish will join them

  8. As much as I would like to see a ruling on the 2nd, I would agree that it would be safer to wait for them to discover RBG's body so that her replacement can be sworn in first.

    1. Total agreement here. Although I'm not so sure about Gorsuch either.
