Court overturns Boston Marathon bomber's death sentence

A federal appeals court on Friday overturned the death sentence of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the man convicted in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.

The three-judge panel of the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston issued the decision more than six months after arguments were heard in the case.

  2. Once again our court system shows how little regard or respect they have for the American people. This son of a bitch came to America and killed and maimed very innocent Americans. The punishment should be death and quickly. No fuckin questions asked.

  4. I have always had serious doubts about what really happened. The media and law enforcement ignored the video evidence I witnessed on the internet. I wondered about the 'confession' manifesto' written in the boat when he was badly wounded. Epstein did not kill himself, and the Boston Marathon was maybe a false flag event.

    1. Tell me you're kidding right? Exactly how was this a false flag event and what agenda did it serve? You know, sometimes I'm glad I hadn't joined some of my local "militia" and 3% ers cause it's that kind of thinking that has the left thinking the right are all a bunch of conspiracy theorists.

    2. To rayvet:
What purpose did it serve? Conditioned Americans to allow warrantless searches of their homes, be locked down through verbal orders, be scared of pistol wielding persons.c
Who on our side gives one vermins buttocks what any commie on the left thinks?
Man the hell up, and stop whining.
Do you have any questions now? Maybe defend your manhood with snark?
I personally am glad you have not tainted any militias or 3% ers.

  5. It's cruel and unusual to deny Dzhokhar his 72 virgins.

  7. There is a lot that isn't in the linked article.
The sentence was vacated, not the conviction. The government made some mistakes so the appellate court is remanding the penalty trial back to the original court where the prosecutors will have to fix their fuckups in front of a new jury. Another death penalty is all but certain.
We should actually be applauding this. The court is making sure that due process is upheld.
As the saying goes, "For my own safety I would demand a fair trial for the devil himself".

  10. Trump says that he wants him retried on the death penalty aspect. Those Circuit judges are an embarrassment to the law, and should resign.

But, there is a silver lining here. He will probably have his stay in ADX Supermax in Florence, Colorado extended indefinitely. He is now in a cell with no view, in solitary, for 23 hours a day. His meals are delivered with no human interaction. He will go to an exercise yard by himself for 1/2 hour a day, by means of automatically controlled steel doors. His fellow Muzzie terrorists are there too, but he has no way of interacting with them. The prison also houses domestic terrorists and organized kingpins.

Many can’t take the mental strain of being there and off themselves, but now there are over 350 there.

  11. Amazing how the party of limited government and following the constitution knee-jerks to the side of violating rights when they don't like the person the government is doing bad things to.

Sure, the dude deserves to be dead. But the government has to go about it the legal way.
