Protestors on their way to harass the Seattle police chief @carmenbest at her home, encountered locals who were not in the mood to host protests in their neighborhood.
Protestor: “We are peaceful! You pointed a gun at my face!”
Resident: “That’s why you are peaceful.”

ReplyDeleteInteresting to note the Seattle police chief does not live in Seattle, and doesn't even live in the same county, King County, Seattle is located in.
ReplyDeleteJust doesn't seem right that one of the top law dogs for a city doesn't even live in the city they are responsible for protecting.
it used to be that if you wanted to be a fireman or cop in detroit you had to live in the city. Some would use bogus addresses, like my uncle would use our address in detroit. We learned that if someone called for uncle Mourice to hand the phone to my mom. As an adult, I found out he had been shacking up with his girlfriend.
