Rock on

Meh - I've got an iPod that my ex bought me when they first came out and guess what? It's filled with the same music that I still listen to today. I gotta tell you, it makes mowing 3 acres of lawn a lot easier.

  1. Call me crazy, but when I'm working, I'd prefer keeping my ears open on wide alert in case ninjas are slipping up on me. But it is very cool a small device holds that much old music that can be enjoyed elsewhere.

    That is just me though.

    1. I'm completely zoned out and daydreaming when I mow as it is, plus I wear earplugs anyway. I'm watching, but not listening. Might as well be listening to music rather than that damned mower.

  2. Obviously, you failed to dispose of it properly.

  4. I agree. My tunes. The only way to go when outside of the house.

  5. yep. I still have my original 4 button 5gb iPod. white and chrome. and the thing still works great.

noise cancelling headphones while mowing is a game changer.

  6. Yeah, I have a little SanDisk MP3 player that I have used for years for when I go on walks, do yard work, etc. Nothing fancy. Just a couple of thousands of great songs (mostly from the 60's and 70's) that get me through the day!!!

Yes, I also have all those songs on my smart phone so that I can Bluetooth them to the car stereo for long trips.

But nothing beats that simple little MP3 player!!!
