Welcome home, Sergeant

MADILL, Okla. (KFOR) – The remains of a soldier killed during the Korean War will be laid to rest.

Army Sgt. Kenneth E. Walker enlisted in the Army on Dec. 7, 1948 and was assigned to Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division.

  2. As someone who has an Air Force family friend who is still listed as MIA in Viet Nam it is always good to hear that we never give up on those who didn't get home.

    Also, If anybody is not familiar with the Battle of The Chosin Reservoir you need to go read up. Who won or lost is disputed to this very day and they were inventing the concept of close air support in live combat.

  4. Nobody won the battle. Welcome back to yours and my home state soldier. I would have started growing up in Madill had Dad not changed employers. Nice town not far from Lake Texoma striper capital of the world.

  5. Kenny, Mr. Garabaldi is on the Honor Guard for Delta in Atlanta. He posted photos on FB of the ceremony when this soldier's remains passed through on the way home.
