So back then women had a valid reason for taking so long to get ready. Today, they've replaced all those undergarments with makeup, hair....stuff, "accessories", and other....stuff that takes just as long and provides nothing of substance, at least not to men. As I've been reminded multiple times, women dress to impress other women. It's a competition. Their version of "my dick is bigger than your dick".....so to speak.
If the source wanted to be complete, less discreet, they would show that the lady did not wear panties, which are a relatively new invention. So, she could easily lift all the layers and squat to relieve herself.
