All kidding aside, the use of video technology is going to be one of the most important privacy debates coming soon.<br />Just remember, the cameras are everywhere. Timber companies put up trail cams to catch people getting into their lands through locked gates, and while I applaud that, because I hate walking in several miles to hunt, only to find some asshole has driven in, or the fuckers who dump trash, one still should be careful.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5183651835847025449.post-88526936530784281682012-01-16T16:28:34.276-06:002012-01-16T16:28:34.276-06:00We've had such cameras here in the UK for year...We've had such cameras here in the UK for years.Called ANPR, standing for automatic number plate recognition, they can read your plate, and check it, in a fraction of a second. Fitted to some patrol cars, you're more likely to see a stationary one, in a van. They check your car is taxed, has a current MOT (a roadworthieness check) and is insured. If not, you will be stopped by a waiting copper about 2-300 yards down the road. I don't mind this, as driving without things like insurance is a cunts trick, and drives premiums up for those of us that pay our way in life.Ironmonkeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17804603428567767821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5183651835847025449.post-51321578673755258742012-01-16T16:16:12.117-06:002012-01-16T16:16:12.117-06:00Here's the article:
