I had 'deactivated' my FB account a month or 3 ago because of it being a huge waste of time, energy and privacy. I didn't delete it completely because there were a shitload of pictures I had on there that I wanted to retrieve at a later date.
So last week sometime I signed back in to get my pictures, then realized I didn't have time to get sort through them all and figured I'd come back to it later. But while I was there I ran across a few folks that I friended and then got sucked back into the Facebook trap, spending an hour here and there intruding on people's boring-ass lives (I could really give a flying fuck less what you think about your favorite football team or your dog or your kids that hate you and I don't think anybody else does either) before realizing that I need to just dump that shit again.
So I deactivated it again. Why did I deactivate it instead of just deleting it once and for all? Because I still haven't got my goddamned pictures off there, that's why.
I know, I never learn.

III has hit the Big Time



A group of like-minded patriots, bound together by pride in American exceptionalism, plan on building an armed community to protect their liberty.
The group, named Citadel, intends to purchase 2,000 to 3,000 acres for the project in western Idaho.  The community will comprise of 3,500 to 7,000 families of patriotic Americans who "voluntarily choose to live together in accordance with Thomas Jefferson's ideal of Rightful Liberty."
According to the Citadel website, Rightful Liberty means that "neighbors keep their noses out of other neighbors' business, that neighbors live and let live."
Citadel explains that residents in the community will be bound by the following:
  • Patriotism
  • Pride in American Exceptionalism
  • Our proud history of Liberty as defined by our Founding Fathers, and
  • Physical preparedness to survive and prevail in the face of natural catastrophes --such as Hurricanes Sandy or Katrina -- or man-made catastrophes such as a power grid failure or economic collapse.
Residents should also agree that being "prepared for the emergencies of life and being proficient with the American icon of Liberty -- the Rifle -- are prudent measures.

When folks demand their "entitlements"

TAYLOR, Mich. (WXYZ) - A chaotic scene erupted at the Taylor Human Services Center when the crowd waiting for a Section 8 Housing voucher distribution got out of control.
The center is located at Eureka and Lange Roads. That's between on Eureka, between Beech Daly and Inkster.
Police say thousands of people from all over the area were at the center. Many were homeless, single moms, or disabled.  They were hoping to get help paying for their housing from the government.
"There was elderly, disabled people, pregnant single women. They were here for help, to get their section 8 vouchers.  It just shows you what a desperate need... some were here since yesterday," said Rhianna Rodriguez.
7 Action News is being told there were 1,000 vouchers available and 5,000 people showed up trying to get one.
The crowd had grown overnight as more and more people arrived.  Witnesses say the line stretched for a mile down Lange Road.
Police say, when the time came for the vouchers to be distributed, there was a mad rush for the door.  Officers tried to control the crowd, but couldn't.

Funny thing is, it doesn't even mention the healthy young people amongst all those 'elderly, disabled people, pregnant single women' that were there to get their free shit so it must've been Granny out there battling.
Here in Stanislaus County Kalifornia, they open up Section 8 eligibility rolls every 3-4 years and people start lining up days before the doors open. Days...... They bring their tents and sleeping bags and camp out, looking like those idiots on Black Friday camping outside of stores.

Oh, and the surprising thing about that story above? Taylor has a population of 63,000 and is mostly white.

Despite launching a gun control agenda that threatens to disarm the American people, President Obama has signed a bill that would afford him armed Secret Service protection for life.

“The legislation, crafted by Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, rolls back a mid-1990s law that imposed a 10-year limit on Secret Service protection for former presidents. Bush would have been the first former commander in chief affected,” reports Yahoo News.
The new bill, which will cost American taxpayers millions of dollars, is a re-instatement of a 1965 law which will see presidents protected for life as well as their children up to age 16.
The irony of Obama seeking to surround himself with armed men for the rest of his life while simultaneously working to disarm the American people via a gun control agenda that is likely to be enforced via executive decree represents the height of hypocrisy.

Obama's Coffee Bitch on gun control

Former Gen. Stanley McChrystal, who led the war in Afghanistan, endorsed strong gun control laws Tuesday on Morning Joe.
“I spent a career carrying typically either an M16 or an M4 Carbine. An M4 Carbine fires a .223 caliber round which is 5.56 mm at about 3000 feet per second. When it hits a human body, the effects are devastating. It’s designed for that,” McChrystal explained. “That’s what our soldiers ought to carry. I personally don’t think there’s any need for that kind of weaponry on the streets and particularly around the schools in America.”
“We’ve got to take a serious look—I understand everyone’s desire to have whatever they want—but we’ve got to protect our children, we’ve got to protect our police, we’ve got to protect our population,” McChrystal said. “Serious action is necessary. Sometimes we talk about very limited actions on the edges and I just don’t think that’s enough.”
“The number of people in America killed by firearms is extraordinary compared to other nations, and I don’t think we’re a bloodthirsty country,” he said. “We need to look at everything we can do to safeguard our people.”

First of all, when McChrystal carried a weapon it had selective fire capability, unlike my own rifles, but I don’t want to press that difference too far because I think it should be legal for mine to have selective fire capability too.
But the irony is that McChrystal, who issued the most restrictive rules of engagement ever promulgated on American troops, waxes know-it-all on what it takes to keep our people safe.  He can micromanage the campaign, release a bunch of inept, bureaucratic  PowerPoint jockeys into highly protected mega-bases to command the troops under fire in the field, turn so-called general purpose troops into constabulary patrolmen, and become a laughingstock when his juvenile staff turned party-animal with Rolling Stone.  But he didn’t manage the campaign in such a manner as to keep our children in uniform safe in Afghanistan.  If he didn’t do that, why should I care what he has to say about anything else regarding my safety?
This is what happens when media stars think they know somethng about policy.  So here is a suggestion for Mr. McChrystal.  You go read the lamentations at this article from the families and widows of SFC Kenneth Westbrook, Gunnery Sgt Aaron M Kenefick, Corpsman James Ray “Doc” Layton, and others in the Ganjgal engagement.  You know the one I’m talking about, even if others have forgotten.  You and I will never forget.  The one where they left our men to perish without fire support because of your rules of engagement.  You sleep with this reality, if you can, you ponder on those men and their lives morning and night, and you lament with the widows and families.  And then you tell me why I should give a shit what you have to say about anything, much less what it takes to keep my children or loved ones safe?

Where Does The Hatred Of Constitutionalism Come From?
The Constitution of the United States is an undeniably powerful document.  So powerful in fact, that it took establishment elitists with aspirations of globalized governance over a century to diminish the American people’s connection to it.  It’s been a long time coming, but in the new millennium, there is now indeed a subsection of the masses that not only have no relationship to our founding roots, they actually despise those of us who do!
There are a number of reasons for this dangerous development in our culture:  A public school system that rarely if ever teaches children about the revolution, the founders, constitutional liberty, or the virtues of individualism in general.  A mainstream media apparatus that has regurgitated endless anti-constitutional shlock for decades, attacking any person or group that presents a freedom oriented view.  And a governmental structure that has become so corrupt, so openly criminal, that they ignore all aspects of constitutional law without regard, rarely feeling the need to explain themselves.  As a people, we are surrounded daily by the low droning wash-talk of denigration and disdain for our principled foundations.  The wretched ghosts of collectivism and tyranny mumble in our ears from birth to death.  It’s truly a miracle that every man and woman in this nation has not succumbed to the mind numbing hypnotism…
However, our propaganda soaked environment is not the ONLY cause of our self destructive society; many people are themselves to blame.  Severe character flaws and psychological imbalances have left some open to suggestion, manipulation, and fraud.  Their hatred, though fueled in part by the socialization of the establishment, is still theirs to own.
The brutal ignorance on display in mainstream circles against the liberty-minded needs to be addressed.  In my view, the American public is being conditioned to see us as a convenient “enemy” which they can use to project all their internal grief and woe.  Our country is on the verge of collapse, economically, politically, and philosophically.  Corporatized elements of our government and the financial high priests of the international banking sector are behind this calamity, and of course, they don’t plan to take responsibility.  Who better to demonize as the catalyst for all the pain that is coming than the only people who have the awareness and the means to stand against the catastrophe?    
There is no doubt in my mind that a great conflict is near, between those of us who value liberty and constitutional protections, and those who would destroy them.  This battle is unlikely to be solved with words.  The anti-constitutionalist rhetoric is becoming so ruthless, so malicious, that it can only lead to a hardening of our own hearts, and an equally forceful response.

Okay, I just ain't getting this zombie thing that's going on. When it first started - or when I first noticed it - a year or so ago I figured it was just a passing thing and 6 months down the road it would run it's course and we'd never hear about it again, but fuck, every time I turn around it's zombie this and zombie that. Hell, there's even zombie killin' ammo out on the market.
What the fuck, have we turned into a nation of voodoo believers or what? I mean, I've never been into fantasy fiction much, never read the Lord of the Rings, but when I'm looking at books about the Apocalypse and it's sounding pretty good and I'm fixing to buy it, there's a goddamned zombie working it's way into the story line.
Fuck man, we got enough real life villains and face-eating dope fiends to work with, what in the hell do we need zombies for? Next thing you know we're gonna have folks eviscerating chickens and shit to read their innards before they make any kind of life or death decisions.
The vampire fad with the youngsters was bad enough but zombies? Give me a fucking break.

Hello Ken, Jeffery ***** here. I live in north Alabama. I really enjoy your blog. We share many of the same views and opinions, especially when it comes to gun control. WWII history is one of my hobbies. A friend of mine that knows I enjoy WWII stuff sent this to me a while back. 2013 finds America full circle from where our Founding Fathers began. Tyranny has raised its ugly head in the form of a President who would be King. The stark reality that our Constitution no longer is relevant to those who hold the highest office in the land puts into perspective what the Founding Fathers must have pondered leading up decision to fight the American Revolution. They and their fellow colonists had a decision to make. Would they live under the yoke of tyranny and slavery or fight for the chance to live as free men? A decision that millions of American patriots are contemplating this very moment.
Undoubtedly, colonial Americans were torn and divided. Some wanted freedom from England, others wanted to remain subject to English crown. Others probably didn’t care. Much like the divided America we find ourselves in today. We have enjoyed the freedoms and liberties that built this once-great nation. And we have watched those liberties usurped by tyrannous men piece by piece over the past decades.
Today, the Vice President of the United States said the President would take executive action on gun control. He didn’t say the President would try to pass legislation through Congress. He said the President was considering exercising executive orders. The President is not allowed unlimited power to unilaterally issue mandates that circumvent the Congress, but he has and does. With little or no resistance from Congress. If the Constitution is no longer followed by those who have sworn to protect it, what do we have? Tyranny.
Obama’s designs on taking our guns is no surprise. While supporters couch their desires for taking our guns behind public safety, nothing is further from the truth. Their aims are to disarm the American populace because we can never be completely controlled when we can shoot back. I’m convinced Obama’s gun control desires are not his ideas. His statist puppet masters have long sought to disarm the American populace. Obama’s attempts are merely the most overt we have seen. For the past four years, gun purchases have been at all-time highs as Americans knew where Obama was going if reelected. After the November election, gun sales have been at a fever pitch as American prepared themselves for what was to come. It has come. It is here.
Everyone who loves liberty and what we once knew America to be has had the time to ask themselves what they are prepared to do and what the price of their actions may be? Do we fully realize what we may lose or do we just bluster on internet blogs? We know what is coming from our adversaries. We know their capabilities and desires. I hope I am wrong but I believe we shall soon have to make the decision to live as slaves or fight and possibly die as free men. AWD made that decision a long time ago.
The dream and light of America will live as long as it burns bright in the hearts of those who love freedom. We have fought wars, internally and externally, to extend the blessings of liberty for future generations. I am not prepared to allow the likes of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and the other corruptocrats to take the very freedoms from me they have sworn to uphold.
They must be made to realize the whirlwind they will reap by trying to seize our Constitutionally-protected firearms. The statists may not believe in the 2nd Amendment or even the Constitution but a whole hell of a lot of us do in this great land and will fight to continue living under its blessings.
I don’t want to say too much tonight. I feel much like an athlete before the biggest game of their life. Or perhaps the way a soldier feels before going into combat. I feel like something terrible yet exciting awaits us over the hill. I am comforted in speaking with a lot of my friends and acquaintances that we are prepared to do what we must do. That alone should say enough.
I will end this with my favorite quote from the Founding Fathers. Samuel Adams owned the tavern from where the Sons of Liberty raided the English ships in Boston Harbor. Have you ever heard or read something and wished you had said it? Samuel Adams is that guy for me. Here are the words he spoke at the Pennsylvania State House in 1776:
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom—go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!”

Despite massive increases in manpower, the U.S. Border Patrol is still intercepting only about 61 percent of would-be illegal immigrants along the U.S.-Mexico border, according to an audit that the investigative arm of Congress released Wednesday.
The findings, which for the first time show a broad estimate of how many illegal immigrants the Border Patrol fails to catch each year, emerge as pressure builds on Congress to move past border security and begin to grant legal status to the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S.
The Government Accountability Office report found that an estimated 208,813 illegal immigrants escaped capture along the nearly 2,000-mile border. Slightly more than half of them turned back to Mexico, and the others proceeded deeper into the U.S., the report said.
The report also said that the Obama administration has gone more than two years without having an effective yardstick for measuring border security, meaning there is no good way to evaluate the job the Border Patrol is doing.

There are two major types of centerfire rifle cartridges available on the market today:
  • Those which are loaded with steel, and
  • Those which are loaded with brass
This seemingly simple variation has caused a never ending stream of argument, discussion, speculation, and questioning from new and seasoned shooters alike.  Complicating the conversation are other variables that typically get lumped into the argument without proper segmentation, such as:
  • The different coating options available on the steel-cased ammo (lacquer or polymer)
  • The different projectile loadings available (copper jacketed lead, the bi-metal coating that most Russian manufacturers use, etc)
  • The different propellant (gunpowder) burn rates
Our team decided to try something ambitious and daunting:  to provide the best resource and data available to answer these questions once and for all through objective experimentation and observation.

“When discussing the Second Amendment, Keep the First in Mind,” is the official position the White House is taking in response an online petition to deport Piers Morgan for attacking the Second Amendment. The petition garnered 109,334 signatures since it went up on December 21.
“President Obama believes that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to bear arms,” White House Spokesperson Jay Carney posted this afternoon. “However, the Constitution not only guarantees an individual right to bear arms, but also enshrines the freedom of speech and the freedom of the press — fundamental principles that are essential to our democracy.”

I removed the search box also - it didn't work for me about half the time and therefore was deemed useless.

I added opinion boxes at the bottom of the posts so you can say yea, nay, or Fuck the gov't without going through the trouble of leaving a comment, going through word verification or waiting for moderation. I can't see who's checked any box so it's completely anonymous, not that I really give a flying fuck.

Socialists in Iowa?


In an interview with the Daily Times Herald in Caroll, Iowa, state Rep. Dan Muhlbauer said governments should start confiscating semi-automatic rifles and other firearms.
Muhlbauer, a Democrat from the western Iowa town of Manilla, is a cattleman and farmer. The newspaper reported that he owns a .410 shotgun, a .22 rifle and a .22 pistol.
“We cannot have big guns out here as far as the big guns that are out here, the semi-automatics and all of them,” Muhlbauer told the newspaper during a December 19 audiotaped interview. “We can’t have those running around out here. Those are not hunting weapons.”

Yeah man, I'm back. Went up to McSwain with my father-in-law for some bank fishing and general fucking off. McSwain ain't really known for it's Big Ass Trout fishing but Al likes it for some reason and seeing as we were taking his motor home.....
Anyways, we got up there about 11 yesterday and I caught one little suckerfish all fucking day long, Al not catching a thing. Finally just as the sun is setting he called it a day and  headed back up to the motor home to put some steaks on. He no sooner got out of sight when I got a hit and reeled in a small trout, maybe 15 inches long, then cast back out and immediately laid into another dink - this one bigger at about 19 inches but still falling far short of the BAT category.
By that time the sun was setting and I started freezing my ass off so I quit for the day and headed back for my steak dinner.
This morning was the same story as yesterday afternoon - nothing and so packed it up around 10 - we were anxious to get back into town - me for a hot shower and Al so he could make the Wednesday night services at church.
All in all, it was a great time. Me and Al got to man-bond without any wimmenfolk pestering us and we both got to relax. I do wish Al had caught some fish though. When he dropped me off, I promised him a day trip in the next few days to my favorite spots where I guarantee he'll catch him some fish - great big motherfuckers, too.
When I got back to the motor home the batteries in my camera were dead so I cleaned the fish and threw them in the freezer. They're in my refrigerator now defrosting, so I'll take pictures of them for you before I throw them in the freezer.
