What? They didn't charge him for crossing a double yellow line?

Greenville Police say they responded to Greene Drive for a suspicious person in a white delivery truck at 6:50 a.m. on Sunday July 5, 2020. Officers observed a man asleep in a truck parked near Country Roads Power Sports. The driver, James Paul Fultz, 37, of Louisville, appeared to be under the influence.

I thought California cops were bad about multiple charges but they ain't got shit on Kentucky and Tennessee cops.

  1. I imagine he pissed them off. The drive from Greenville to Madisonville is 30 minutes on the Parkway. Who knows how long it is by backroad.
Piling on charges will male make him take a plea quicker.

  2. If this happened in California, he would be given a lollipop and released without bail on his own recognizance.

  3. A friend of mine, who retired from the PD a long time ago, told me that he and a bunch of other police had to chase some guy down because he was drunk and almost killed a bunch of innocents on the highway by going the wrong way. He said that when they finally got the idiot stopped, he was so pissed at the guy that he wanted to shoot him outright. He couldn't do that, so instead he emptied his gun into the radiator of the guys car. (This was also in KY, by the way.)
