Huh, that asshole dog Jack didn't make the list

Smaller, older and male dogs are more likely to be aggressive and growl, snap and bark at humans, a study of 23 different breeds has found.

Some breeds are also more likely than others to exhibit aggressive behaviour, with Rough Collies, like Lassie, the most aggressive of all breeds.

In contrast, Labradors and Golden Retrievers, beloved for their docile temperament and gentle nature, were found by scientists to be the least aggressive breeds.

For all the trouble I had with that asshole dog Jack when I first got him, he's actually fairly docile, especially around me and Lisa. He's territorial with strangers for sure but not overly aggressive - he'll stand his ground but won't attack.
