You can have my chimps when you pry them from my cold dead fingers

FESTUS, Mo. (KTVI) – A St. Louis-area chimpanzee owner is being warned a second time by a federal judge, with a new court order saying all her chimps must go.

But Tonia Haddix says she’s not backing down, defying the animal rights group PETA and the judge who ordered her to turn over seven chimpanzees.

  1. Pound for pound, a chimpanzee is more powerful than just about any human. If one of them wanted to, it could tear the face off of Mike Tyson. Naive people think wild animals are cuddly and cute, never realizing that they could die a fast and horrible death from one of these creatures. But as I have frequently said, Stupidity is a self correcting problem.

    1. My thoughts exactly. All one has to do is go read about chimpanzee attacks against humans to realize the serious threat these animals pose. As they get older they always turn bad. They are not domestic animals. My recommendation is that if you see one these get loose be prepared to immediately shoot and if I lived in a neighborhood where someone was keeping these things I'd be very worried.

    2. Do you remember a few years ago when a "pet" chimp tore the face off of a woman who was visiting the chimp's "caregiver"? (Un-PC to say "owner" anymore, y'know.)

THe injured woman got a face transplant but she looks like a wax face by Picasso.

    3. The average full-grown male chimp could DESTROY any man on Earth. Pound for pound, they're four times as strong as a human. With teeth and a lot faster.

They're vile nasty creatures and they're doing that woman a favor.

  2. Oh i'st the Bedtime for Bongo variety. For a minute I thought they were referring to the feral, gun-toting kind of Chimps.

  3. "Tear the face off of Mike Tyson"?
Looking at his face I understand that already happened to half of his face.

  5. If rounding up chimps is so important why not start at the White House?

  6. Looks like a pretty shitty place for the chimps to be living. One of them even told her to shove her rainbow cake. :)

  9. When chimps attack that's exactly what they do : tear your face off.

  10. While it may seem cruel to keep these magnificent animals as pets, truth be known, many came from less than ideal circumstances. Usually circus's carnivals, private individuals who had no idea what it took to care for these animals etc. are where people like this lady get them from. Taking care of them, since they live as long as humans, is a labor of love. AND if PETA has anything to do with it, she should fight it. Plain and simple. Those fuckers should be shot on site and left to rot where they fall. They're a useless bunch of wokesters.

  11. Read in a book from a professional hunter in Africa.
If a infant goes missing, they look in the trees for it.
Chimpanzees will take babies for food.
Not so cute now, are they?

  12. Problem with chimps is that a lot of 'chimps' found in zoos and circuses used to be actually bonobos, which are like hippy free-love vegan versions of chimps. When bonobos got scarce in Africa (because they are far easier to trap than chimps) then they started importing lots and lots of actual chimps.

Real chimps are assholes. And tend to go feral when their hormones hit, much like raccoons.
