Lightfoot says she would 'absolutely' exclude white journalists from interviews again

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said she would "absolutely" grant interviews only to journalists of color again after she drew waves of backlash earlier in the year when she announced the policy.

"I would absolutely do it again. I’m unapologetic about it because it spurred a very important conversation, a conversation that needed to happen, that should have happened a long time ago," the Democrat said on a segment of the New York Times's podcast Sway, released on Monday.

And not a single person in the media will sue her for discrimination.

  1. How about that, an elected public official openly stating their preference based on skin color. Dollars to donuts she refuses Candace Owens. Bettlejuice's version of, If you don't vote for me, you ain't black.

    1. That's a good thing most MSM are white so we won't have to look at her as much

  2. She believes in diversity and inclusion -- on her terms and her definitions. No Irish need apply.

  3. Dyke-foot has been a total disaster for Chicago. She's pissed off more folks than I can count. Half of the City Council wants her out. Half the Alderman of Chicago's 50 voting wards want her out. Sane thinking people want her out. About the only folks who don't want her out of office are the criminals on the south and west sides ... they get arrested but are back on the streets typically within a day or two.
    An effective leader she ain't.

    1. I was thinking if she pissed of that many powerful folks in old Chicago, she would have had either an accident or an open and untimely demise.
But as you stated, if they keep the criminal constituency happy they are pretty safe.

  4. Any answers she gives to "reporters" are 90% bullshit anyway, so why bother? She knows she's a liar, and they know she's a liar, but they all pretend otherwise. Just like PedoJoe.

  5. "I’m unapologetic about it because it spurred a very important conversation, a conversation that needed to happen..."
So what? You spurred a conversation and what happened!??! You still got your way. You still won't speak to white reporters. So having that "conversation" didn't change your perspective?
This is the problem with critical race theory and black lives matter and the whole host of societies problems these days. "THEY" want a conversation....but the conversation has to be on their terms and using their pronouns. "THEY" want the conversation to echo their preconceived notions about society. "THEY" really are not willing to bend their thinking to accommodate other ways of thinking.
Yep, just a long winded way of saying, "SCREW THEM"!!!!!

  8. The hilarious part of all of this is no one in America cares any more about dead blacks than you do.

  9. Chicago has the Mayor it deserves and they need to either own it or do something about it. Some of these "Democrats" are so fucked up I actually suspect them of working undercover for the "Republicans". I can't think of an actual Journalist who would be interested in interviewing he/she/it in the first place. You could a random person out of a car in the parking lot of Wal Mart and get a more meaningful interview.

  10. And that evening she relaxed at home by getting dildoed to climax by a white woman. Go figure.

  13. Honestly, it is for the better.
The more they expose their hypocrisy, the less people care to listen to them.

  14. "I’m unapologetic about it because I'm too stupid & drunk on the power acquired by this office to be otherwise."
    There, I fixed it.
