  2. I think #1 was ripped off of a movie set, looks totally staged to me and I've seen #'s 5,8,9 and 10 somewhere before, maybe even here

    1. I may have run #4 before, the rest of them, no.

    2. I'm on and off too many of these sites everyday. I'm sure a couple of these have ran on other sites

    3. A lot of us use the same sites for material and a lot of those sites must get their material from a master site somewhere. I've got 4 of them bookmarked but only use one for the most part because the others al have the same thing.

There's a few gifs that do get replicated by me but it's understandable - I look at over 60 gifs a day looking for material and it's hard to keep track of what I've already used.

  3. #9 A6's were the one plane that knocked me down and rolled me down the deck. All other planes F14, S3, A7, E3Cs no problems.... The nonskid on the deck would cut you up. I was always very concerned if A6's and prop planes were being moved on the deck. You could not always help getting hit by the jet blast. The yellow shirts would direct a plane to turn and tough shit if it affected you. It got real quiet when a strong jet blast was turned on you.
All in all it was a fun job.
#9 shows EA-6B's it is an electronics platform.

    3. EA6B, the mighty Queer!
I was an S-3 tech, but the A-6 was my favorite aircraft aboard; those and the enormous 53s.

    4. The "pipes" on the Prowler have a bit of a turn down at the end. They were definitely good leaf blowers and would often get noise complaint calls from people near airports who were accustomed to actually louder planes. Being near the F-14s though on takeoff would seem to cause your heart rhythm to change!

    1. I can remember seeing the video of a sailor getting sucked into a jet engine and being spit out the exhaust, alive.

  6. #8, very common in the 80's as I have done 100's of them with spray ether or gasoline - no other way to get them to air up especially in the cold. Singed a few eyebrow and arm hairs along the way. :P

    1. It requires a specific balance of bravery and stupidity to do that successfully.

Yep, did that more than enough times. Even found out one tractor rim had a fatigued bead and it came right off with the tire in hot pursuit.

    2. The milking robot does clean the teat before milking.
Milking operation with the 'bots is easier on the cows too.
They have RFID ear tag, cows learn to come to the milking stall when they feel full, no matter what time. Which is better than the manual operations where all the cows are milked on the same schedule.

  8. 9) Thats and EA6B Prowler. I wonder if in todays woke Navy they still call it a "Queer 6"?

    1. They probably would, if it was still around. These days, instead of four people going assholes and elbows and not able to keep up with the strike package, you've got two in an EFA-18 flying in amongst them. And they call it a "Growler".

  12. #9. A friend of mine got some kind of award for saving a guy from going over the side when hit by a blast from a jet exhaust. They both got hit, but my friend was able to grab something and hold on, and grabbed the other guy, and kept him from going over the side.
I don't remember the details, but I heard from my sister yesterday, that he is in hospice, almost ready to pass on, from cancer. 62 years old, that sucks. His sister is married to my brother.

  15. #8 - I've tried that a few times with my tractor tires and starter fluid. Never worked very well but I was afraid to use to much starter fluid after watching too many videos of people getting f#cked up.
