A source close to Ms Maxwell, who faces life in prison if convicted of child sex and trafficking charges, said: ‘Ghislaine is absolutely prepared to take the stand. She is prepared to do whatever it takes to save her own life.
Isn't there a gag order or something like that on this trial? I read elsewhere that the judge was nominated by Schumer & Biden only a week or so ago and kicked the press out just a day or two ago.

ReplyDeleteThe trial is open to the public as all Federal trials are. Likewise, there is no televised coverage. The media is allowed in, but with absolutely no electronic equipment, just pen / paper - all standard for Federal trials. Audio coverage is available, you can dial in and hear it live. The judge was nominated but is not yet confirmed, but with the limitations on evidence and the constraints on topics, and the carrot dangling in front of the judge if she plays ball, yeah it's corrupt as hell.
