Well, they were white, ya know

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — The Dayton Board of Zoning Appeals has approved the city’s request to demolish a 129-year-old historic building that once was the site of the Wright brothers’ first bike shop.

  1. "The city wants to tear down the site because the building has deteriorated to a point where it can no longer be maintained and redeveloped..." Another loss of history. Why did the building fall into such disrepair? Taxes too high? Wrong color neighborhood?
Wonder which party is in control of that city?

    1. What they always say and what I always ask.
What gets me is we rebuilt Williamsburg, Ft Vancouver and other sites that were mostly archaeological sites.

  8. Yeah, approved because it was the city government that wanted to demolish it. If it was a private citizen that owned it, you can bet your ass they'd never ever have gotten approval.

    Damn socialist zoning laws anyway.
