Read "Puckoon" a book by Mr Spike Milligan. One of the few books that had me laughing aloud many times. It tells of goings on in a wee Irish town during creation of the North South border. Part of the plot involves shenanigans with a corpse. Spike was a renowned comedian and ex WW2 soldier. He wanted "I told you I was ill." inscribed on his tombstone, but graveyard administrators would not allow such levity. So he had it inscribed in Gaelic.
People required to be present when cashing their pension check?

I believe the gaelic form of Bernie is Barney or Blarney!
