Governor Lee responds to letter calling on him to cancel special session
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Gov. Bill Lee (R-Tennessee) feels confident lawmakers will accomplish something during the special session in August.
“Let’s have a strong conversation,” he said. “Let’s put ideas on the table.”
Tennessee’s governor is up against his own party when it comes to his emergency relief protection order (ERPO) proposal.
As a representative of his constituents, Lee needs to STFU and sit down. His employers have spoken to their local represenstatives loud and clear and are not interested. Hence why said representatives have said 'his special meeting' is unnecessary.
ReplyDeleteLee is acting like an impetulant tyrant, violating his oath of office to serve The People, and should resign in shame.
Can the TN legislature initiate a recall of this governor during this special session, just asking?
ReplyDelete"Gov. Bill Lee (R-Tennessee) feels confident lawmakers will accomplish *something* during the special session in August."
ReplyDeleteImpeaching his Bolshevik self is "something"? Isn't it?
I mean as long as he has you all there.
I do not understand the executive to call to order the legislature.
ReplyDeleteLee, from solid roots of conservatism, I wonder if someone aint holding something over him.
ReplyDeleteGod fearing, raised in a ranching family, and he turns against* the 2A? Don't seem right.
* No matter how slight the act, against gun toting rights is against the whole 2A.
I don't know, but I hope the legislature bitch slaps him over this.
