  5. Yep, while our kids are being taught about white privilege. guns are bad and 69 genders, theirs are being taught how to fire a mortar. Does anyone else see a problem with this? Eod1sg Ret ( It should be noted that I would have bought that toy for my kid if it existed when he was little, just like the laser tag he had)

    2. When I was with ROK Marines in the Que Son Valley, they used a 4.2 (four deuce) mortar to help deter VC/NVA all night long. Slept twenty feet from it and my ears still ring. Sez, 1st ANGLICO class of 71’

  6. #3 If you swim with a dog don't let them swim right up to you. You'll get your chest clawed. Just gentle push them to the left or right.
#6 I seen flims of gorillas doing this.
#7 In theory the first person in the chain or the one grabbing the fence should receive no shock. Nor should any in the chain. The one on the end is, supposed, to get the jolt. I said in theory. Yes, I've tried it, Nope, never had it work.

    1. No, because they're all standing on the ground. And thus grounded, completing the circuit. A bunch of them lined up make it a parallel circuit; everybody gets the same shock.

    2. I've always heard that too but never believed it. I always figured that if the current passes through you, no matter how smoothly, you have to feel it. A light bulb will light up with a good connection, not a poor one.

    1. When I used to climb telephone poles back in the day, we called that a "gaff out." And I never climbed up or down with the belt around the pole...good way to get a chest full of creosote splinters if your gaffs slipped.
