  1. Having ridden on a Camel I can sympathize. But should not have been two guys at a time. You do feel like you are going head over ass.

  3. #6 Hey, it's Tuesday! Yeah, with three boys under 11 plus a cute little two year old who can now open doors... Tuesday. At least it doesn't involve excrement in any way! (Yeah, that was today...)

  4. #1 - What a witch. Glad she fell. She literally tried to grab another competitor (he was wearing a number) instead of running faster.

    1. I don't think she was trying to grab him. She did try to run faster and fell forward. Her arms didn't go out until the last moment.

    1. Yep. Beatings are in order. Not encouragement.

  7. #2 They forgot to close the windows.
Flotation devices around the car would have helped.
The gators must've laughed. Lunch, boys.

  8. My daughter taught my grandsons to drink straight from the dispenser on the fridge. They'd just walk up, open their mouth, and put their chin on the lever. It ended the "Mom! I'm thirsty!" requests.

  9. #10 Nobody is posting about #10? Dude chunks a kid over to his fellow guide's boat in some pretty brutal conditions. I wonder if he told the parents before he did it.

    1. Boat is swamped, pinned on the rock, he's sending them somewhere safer. If they stay they probably wind up in the water anyway

  12. 2) I have an engineering rant I go off on about the fact that people who lift vehicles or drive them in water ignore the fact that you can very easily install an axle breather kit that lifts the vents and keeps them out of the water to help keep water out of your diff/axle oil. Not that I think it would help these guys. It just made me think of it.

    6) I have another engineering rant I sometimes go off on about the fact that the water and ice machines in refrigerators are the only water outlets in your house that are not pointed at a drain and as such are subject to causing flooding. It's a bad design.

    End Of Rant (for now)

    1. Yeah, tell me. First thing in the morning I go into the kitchen (after I find it) to make the morning coffee and wonder why my feet are wet. Naturally, it's the automatic ice maker in the fridge. The line is busted and the floor is flooded, and... it's a train wreck.

No more ice maker for me. I'll use the good old fashioned ice cube trays.

And, when my washing machine bit the big one, I got a top loader, the front loader being vulnerable to a variant of the ice maker break down. Some of us, we learn as we go.
