And the Band Played On.....

The Birmingham Police Department released a video Monday showing the tasing and arrest of Minor High School's band director last week.

Juandalynn Givan, the attorney for band director Johnny Mims, said the bands were taking part in fifth quarter. This is a time after the game when some high schools and historically Black colleges and universities will have their bands battle to see who is better.

    1. When the authorities make a perfectly reasonable request to you, and you respond by acting like an entitled piece of shit who thinks the rules don't apply to you, this is a possible outcome. I guess he figures he can just play his race card and everything's just gonna work out.

    1. Hard to see the entire stadium, but it looks like this band was the last ones there. Still they could have let them finish the song, but on the other hand, some people think they are special and do not have to follow the rules.
