Big Sale at Costco

Corner's cracking open. Somebody wants to ride up front.

And yes, Costco does sell caskets. My uncle ordered his from Costco when he found out he was dying. Cost about half of what it would've cost from the funeral home.
A quick check shows that not only does Costco still sell caskets, but Walmart does too. I was hoping to see a Mountain Dew themed casket at the Walmart site but no dice.

  3. I always kind of partial to a Viking style funeral myself. told the wife to drag my dead ass down to the boats, find one she doesn't like. toss my ass on it. dump a 5 gallon gas can on top of me. cut the boat loose and set me on fire. but I don't think she going to do that for me.
oh, well. and she keep saying I need to buy a boat first. why? only going to use it once.

  4. Ain't no reason to spend a lot, pine box and dig a hole. I swear it's more expensive to die than ever. Told my family to cremate me, then dump me in the backyard. Or the bay. Whatever, I won't be around to care.

  5. I'd like to go the ecological route so I got a Vermeer BC700XL wood chipper and sent the operating instructions to my daughter so she can spread my love around.

  7. I've always thought that if I knew I was dying well in advance, I'd have my son and daughter build a casket for me. It would be a great bonding experience.

    1. Just how far is well in advance? Sounds like "no time like present to get started" Your kids can use it as a hope chest until you need it back.
