I saw an unwanted puppy being dropped off in front of our farm, so I scooped him up while my father gave the erstwhile owners some serious hell about responsibility. My grandparents were on vacation, but when they got home there was a nice, fluffy white, house broken puppy waiting for them.
One day granny noticed that her knitting basket had been moved... and wound up in the yarn was the puppy. Granny told me he was so tangled up that she had to get a pair of scissors and cut him loose.
Somebody had a blast.

His name was Happy, and he lived a long life.
