Whoa, another failed California policy?

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — California may soon lift a ban on state-funded travel to states with anti-LGBTQ+ laws and instead focus on an advertising campaign to bring anti-discrimination messages to red states.

California started banning official travel to states with laws it deemed discriminatory against LGBTQ+ people in 2017, starting with Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee. Since then, the list has grown to include a total of 26 states, most of them Republican-led, following a surge of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation these past few years.

Yeah, like anybody gave a fuck if they stayed home.

  1. As if protecting six year old kids from getting violated by mentally ill people is anti-anything. And I wish the media would stop lumping the L, G, and B with the letters that come after, where all the insanity resides.

  2. Guess they finally concluded that repeatedly punching themselves in the dick wasn't amounting to squat. I reckon now we can look forward to those insufferable tards weaseling their way back into our 1/2 decent states.

  4. Question: Why are "university scholars" traveling on state money in the first place? I earned a couple of degrees at state universities in my time, but I don't recall any state-funded travel benefits offered.

Cali is phucked. So very phucked.

  5. I haven't seen ANY anti-LGBTQIA+ laws anywhere... they seem to complain about anti-grooming laws, and child safety laws... seems pretty clear why.

  6. So if anyone has been paying attention, this is a giant indicator that Newsom will be running for prez. He won't step down as gov, so he would be prohibited from campaigning in those states otherwise, and they clearly learned the Hillary Wisconsin lesson

    1. The ban on traveling hasn't slowed their traveling down. I've posted a couple articles about it in the past.
