Live in a shithole, drink from a shithole

When a toilet is flushed in California, the water can end up in a lot of places: An ice skating rink in Ontario, ski slopes around Lake Tahoe, and farmland in the Central Valley.

And — coming soon — kitchen faucets.

  1. Every drop of water you've drank was once dinosaur piss. Water is constantly recycled, the technology to clean wastewater to drinking water standards has been around for a long time. 16 years of running a wastewater plant that discharged cleaner water into a river than what was in the river.

    1. I toured our local wastewater plant in the late '90's and the water discharge was safe to drink.

    3. I have to call BS on Champ. There's no way those WW plants can get chemicals or all those pharmaceuticals out of wastewater. Not only that but there's microscopic pieces of toilet paper, woman's napkins, shit, etc., that no WW plant can filter. In a closed system the water will continuously become more toxic. They want you dead. -sammy

  4. I don't know why people get upset about waste water recycling. All the water you use, for any purpose, from any source, is recycled waste water.

  6. The toxins, lead, etc. in the water are all at such low levels they won't hurt you. How do I Know that? Because the FDA and whatever regulatory agencies SAY they won't.
    Safe and Effective, anyone?

    The detectable, Known Toxins,are safe.
However, ANY THC that can be found in a laboratory means YOU can't grow it,even If it's at such low levels that you Can Not get high off of it.

It's almost as if they treat us like the enemy.

  7. New Orleans gets its drinking water from the Mississippi River. In high school the science teacher told about going to the bathroom in a bar in St. Louis and scribbled on wall was “flush hard it’s a long way to New Orleans “.
