  1. #3 - Reminds me of this:

I told my kids that I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle.

The little bastards unplugged the TV and poured out my whiskey.

    1. That is just so funny.
Of course being a Baby Boomer, I am thankful for the new medical equipment. So should younger people because you never know when you might it too.

  3. #9 Exactly, also we still talk about our cars fuel economy in mpg but in Imperial gallons not US gallons (160 fluid ounces versus 128).

  6. As a 75 yr old boomer can relate to #3. 2017 had shoulder repair, 2018 surgery on nose and throat took care of apnea. 2019 was the big one, had aortic valve replaced, during surgery a piece of calcium got loose and gave me a stroke, came to with left side of my body not working. Most was very temporary, have some problems with left hand. Yesterday I had a total reverse shoulder replacement since my rotator cuff was totally destroyed. Now i have two chunks of titanium in arm and shoulder. All my previous surgery's required a hospital stay. Yesterday was at the hospital but it was treated as out patient day surgery. Went in at7:30 was home by 6pm i didn’t have time to flirt with the young hotties my but got shipped home. Since I've retired I've used the hell out of my medical insurance.

    1. Thank you. I'm 73 and you have me counting my blessings. I haven't seen a doctor in over 35 years. I'm hoping I can keep it that way until the day I kick the bucket, which will probably be stress related and will occur sometime during the Harris administration.

By the way, my local hospital is owned by Dignity Healthcare. My made-up slogan for them is "Dying with Dignity".

  8. #1 - Given Newsom's known philandering ways, this one could be entitled "Knewsom & Blewsom. Though "Blewalot" would be more accurate.
