In Michigan, Harris doesn't get hoped-for firefighters endorsement amid shifting labor loyalties

It was the perfect place to welcome the endorsement of the firefighters union — a gleaming new firehouse in a blue-collar town just outside of Detroit in the key battleground state of Michigan.

But by the time Kamala Harris showed up in Redford Township on Friday, there was no endorsement waiting for her.

  2. Firefighters know that if Lalala gets elected she'll burn the whole country.
Too much work for those firefighters, especially since they'll be locked up in January Six prisons for not allowing it to burn.

  3. Losing out on the endorsement is more than just a PR loss. It also means that she loses the system of volunteers and lists that the union has. And a few other things that come with an endorsement by a group like this.
This is a pretty big deal, and the Harris campaign will do what they can to somehow say that it is actually a win for them. Sort of like in the Wizard of Oz, "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain". Or, who should I believe, Harris or my lying eyes?

  5. I've worked with and even managed a large unionized work force for most of my life and watching the Democrats literally abandon the values of the rank and file workers has been amazing. The dichotomy between the Rank and File members and the hard core leftist Union Leadership is starting to close as Union Leadership is begins to realize that they are going to have to actually represent the membership. I'm not pro or anti Union, I just know I've worked with some decent hard working and capable members over the years and they don't support nanny state communism.
