Mayorkas Says FEMA Will Run Out of Funds Before Hurricane Season is Over; Agency Spent $640.9 Million on Noncitizens in 2024

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has spent more than $600 million of available funds to serve noncitizen migrants in fiscal year 2024, and now, according to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the agency doesn’t have enough funding left over to make it through the rest of the hurricane season.

    you know, they make it real easy to loathe these bastards.
    we need to start having public hanging again in this country. God knows there are enough
    assholes that should be hung for what they have done.

    Also take note that he said that just 1 day into FY 2024/2025. His agency just received it's budget for the year, he's already spent it.
