Profanity-laced anti-Trump rant gets Southern California teacher suspended

A history teacher at Valley View High School in Moreno Valley has been placed on administrative leave after going on a profanity-laced anti-Trump rant after the election that has since gone viral on social media.

The teacher’s punishment has sparked something of a controversy with students walking out of class in protest of his suspension.

  1. Administrative leave, probably with full pay, until it blows over. Keep that outside the workplace and it's free speech. But he couldn't. He should be fired for his classroom rant. But it's California after all.

    1. Should be fired?
Nope. As a democrat, teacher, and union member it is his JOB to generated hatred and keep students dumb.

  2. Trump Derange Syndrome is rampant across the country in all age groups. My 79-year-old sister has a severe case of it. I asked my doctor if Thorazine came in an autoinjector and if he would prescribe several for me to carry when I visit.

  3. So Students walking out over the suspension. How many? What about the ones that are not walking out? The Walkers should face discipline, but won't

  4. The students sounded like they were given talking points and the TDS regurgitation of ad hominem rhetoric.

  6. Once again there are those who need to learn that while freedom of speech is protected, there are places where one's opinions are to be kept to themselves.

  7. The article identifies students, but not the teacher.... KTLA is part of the problem..
