PLAQUEMINE — Two women were arrested Tuesday after an Iberville Elementary basketball game where one woman allegedly punched the school's principal, according to the Plaquemine Police Department.

  3. After looking at both pictures, I think Godchaux means Godawful fugly!
    The linked story doesn't mention that the principal is a white woman.
    In the story with that fact, there is this account, obviously trying to indicate they were justified - "Some witnesses said Medine first grabbed the child “aggressively” before approaching Parker, which is what prompted the fight."

  4. That Parish had some very "interesting" interpretations of law and enforcement when Judge Leander Perez ran it back in the 60s.

    1. It’s Plaquemine, Louisiana - the town in Iberville Parish - not Plaquemine Parish. The former is South of Baton Rouge, the latter South of New Orleans.
