    3. Starker here,
I can say Conjunctivitis, aka Pink Eye. Since nearly 6 years ago I don't even touch the corners of my eyes until I've washed my hands.

    4. #7 AI Fake. No steam as lava hits water. Please, just stop.

    5. Yes, please just stop with the "AI Fake" bullshit. I'm fucking tired of it.
Seriously, look at the gif. That lava's rolling down a hillside. Since when does water have a stationary slope? And that's just one clue. Take another look at the base of the lava as it flows. Doesn't that tell you something?

  3. #3 - Typical female. What she looks like, and associated social signalling, is ABSOLUTELY the most important thing.

A guy would have tried to pick up a fork or wrench or something. Maybe scratched his ass. She? The most important part of having a robotic hand is being able to wave at people.

    1. She is quite fetching, but my impression is she is a ringer for a psychotic Carrie Fisher when she meets Jake in the tunnel.

  4. 3. If that's any indication, it won't be too long before prosthetics will be better than original equipment.

  5. #3-I KNEW IT! Mentioned it >5 years ago to someone who had been Special Forces for >20yrs how i had noticed that so many T.V. shows had been redone as movies, but not the $6,000,000 Man; sorta like no Sci-Fi involving nuclear weapons was allowed 1942-1945 or so. He said there was stuff in the works that would "blow your mind". Guess he was right.

    1. Twice I had lunch with the real $6,000,000 man. The capabilities of his prosthetics, including internal organs, was absoultely futuristic. That was in the 1970s.

A friend who had been in a serious car crash has prosthetics which function so flawlessly that it is quite difficult to tell they are not human original. Like seamless transition.

  7. #6 - She puts a whole new meaning to the expression: Put your knees behind your ears. I'd love to have a personal demonstration in my bedroom... or her's.
