I feel you. Sorry for your losses. I have big dogs but 8-10 years is it unfortunately. Got a Havanese now. 12 pounds but great breed. Only barks softly at night if someone walks down the hall towards our bedroom Not yippee and super smart.

Dogs put up with so much shite from all comers, human and animal. Funny, I don't see many cats being so accommodating.
