Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced the arrest of Gene Eddie Theriot, 51, of Houma, following a Cruelty to Animals complaint reported early Sunday morning.
Eddie, along with his battered dog, lives on a street called Maw Maw Court. That should indicate he don't live in the upscale part of town, but then again are there any "upscale" parts of town in Louisiana?
HL, That worked on my dogs for the last 45 plus years. I think ole Gene could use a toss onto the concrete, as an example of activities you don't inflict on a dog. Sounds like the dog was fortunate to come out of it as well as it did. He'll be sore the next day for sure.
OK, I'll play devil's advocate. Deputies didn't see any injuries to the dog, and the female at the residence was fine, but based on what the neighbor said the police arrested him for yelling at the neighbor and being disagreeable with them. A good lawyers will have a field day with this. He should not have been belligerent with the police, US LEO are the best armed criminals gangs in the land.

ReplyDeleteOut in the swamp is kinda nice. The delta is more civilized than NO.
DeleteHe needs a boot shoved up his ass ankle deep

A couple of hip-throws with him landing on concrete would also seem appropriate
DeleteAnyone who owns a dog should understand that every once in a while there will be an accident.
ReplyDeleteDude looks like a Domestic incident waiting to happen
ReplyDeleteRub the dog's nose in it and throw it outside. Worked for our son.

Did your son recover?
DeleteUnclezip. Thanks, I was afraid no one would get the joke. I know people used to believe in that method.
