Listen to the wise words of Wyatt Earp as he gives his thoughts on surviving a gunfight in the old west. He speaks about flashy gun play and the lawmen and gunslingers he has known, he speaks of his time as a lawman in some of the toughest and most dangerous town in the old west.
I'm not a fan, history was rewritten to make him some kind of hero but that's a lie..
ReplyDeleteHe was a criminal charged with; theft, horse stealing and pimp among other things.. He ran away and/ or escaped jail, to keep from being punished for his crimes, something he would later kill others for doing the same thing.
The gunfight was over him and his family trying to disarm others, the beginning of gun control, and people were murdered over it.. I'm sure gun control groups like Bloomberg's every town USA gun control freaks love him..
In other words a POS pretending to be a hero

Bob Boze Bell over at True West Magazine has several videos about the Earps worth watching.
DeleteI'll have to check it out.
DeleteI've read several articles on Earp over the years, they all pretty much painted the same picture.

Bob Bell's research is very detailed and he's not afraid to call a spade a spade.
DeleteI’d wager there were lots of sobs back then. He didn’t write the movies and books.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Bob Boze Bell over at True West Magazine's youtube channel, he did write a book about his life but it seriously sucked and was full of bullshit, so it went nowhere.
