For Dizzbln

Look for the frog below the label.
The explanation for this is that when they washed the lettuce in Mexico, they washed it in water that had tadpoles and the frog matured inside the bag.
How true is it? I don't know, maybe just anti-Mexican propaganda, but it makes me wash my veggies thoroughly.

  2. I used to work at a grocery store a long time ago. I'd often work until closing and that was the time you walked through the place to make sure no one was hiding in the shelves and locked in the bathroom.

It was on this walk that I noticed a rather large salamander taking a stroll up the aisle next to the produce. I was sure it came in with the lettuce. I took the poor salamander home and then gave it to a friend of mine.

That being said, I think your lettuce pic was doctored. It's been hanging around the intenets for years.

    Frogs are delcious.

  4. I had this happen to me last year. the frog was dead and I didn't notice it until I had stuck a fork in it and had it on the way to my mouth. Needless to say I didn't finish my salad. Good thing it was me and not my wife or we'd have been cleaning puke off the dinding room table.
