Prayer Advice

Intercessory prayer news: Minister defends praying for bad things to happen to foes.

Ever since Pastor Wiley Drake declared not once, but three times, on national radio that he was praying for the death of President Barack Obama, he has been trying to clarify. Yes, he really does want God to smite Obama. No, it's not a partisan prayer. Yes, it's in the Bible, he says, and no, he wasn't kidding. He's deadly serious.
But it's not like a non-stop death prayer. He explains:
"That doesn't mean I spend every waking hour praying for the death of the president. Of our prayers, 98 percent should be good prayers, and 2 percent should be imprecatory."
Here's a handy pie chart that you can keep as a reminder:
So, if you're a typical Christian who pray for three hours per day, 3.6 minutes of that prayer time should be devoted to praying for Obama's death. That's not asking much, is it?

Thanks, VC

  1. So do it first and get it out of the way so you can go on the the "good" prayin'... I think I'll just start by prayin' that he don't fuck up stuff this week... I don't want him dead. That wouldn't be fair to the folks where he would wind up... they're suffering enough as it is...hint, hint...

  3. The problem with wishing Obama's death or impeachment is simple.

    President Biden

The way "the one's" popularity is dropping, soon he will be irrelevant, anyway.
