Slavery in the 21st Century

"So we're going to provide a $4,000 tuition credit, every student, every year, but students, you're going to have to give back something in return. You're going to have to participate in community service. You're going to have to work in a homeless shelter, or a veteran's home, or an underserved school, or join the Peace Corps."
- Barack Obama

Sorry, I'm so used to folks, particularly women, call me names that I automatically assume it's directed at me.

  4. 4,000 dollars? that will get ya through your first semester, maybe two if you can find a way to get out of living in the dorms. And Mr. Obama, I don't want the money, that I will have to pay back later in the form of taxes.

We just need to explain to the kids that they simply don't have to take the money.

Interesting thing about volunteering, is that you can only be a volunteer, if it was your idea to do it in the first place. Otherwise, you got drafted to do it.

  6. Even if it were a good idea

And if people were to take him up on it

And if they actually turned up to right place at the right time on the right day

Why the duck should they actually do something constructive? They've been paid to turn up, not actually give a carp.

Wake up Mr O. the book tour starts soon.
