Bad-ass toys

I'm not into RC planes (or other RC toys) at all but a jet powered RC plane?
Damn.....
My first thought was how much fun it would be to fuck with the Sheriffs' helicopter..... Can you imagine what would be going through their minds when this fucker rips past at 400 mph?

  1. I had a friend who was seriously into R/C planes. He liked building WWII fighters and bombers, including twin-engine models, and had all the bells and whistles like retractable landing gear, bomb-dropping mechanisms, and other stuff.
One of his B-25 Mitchell bombers cost him over $5000 ready-to-fly!

  2. I went to an R/C airshow years ago that had a lot of jets. It was very cool. They were faster and quieter than I thought possible. That was in the late 90's though. This thing look way faster.

  3. The site that I got this from (follow the link on the post) also has a huge RC C-17 that is cooler than shit.

  4. That's awesome.

orbitup--there's no such thing as a quiet jet.

Oh, and as to your troll, Kenny...
    Fuck Obama!!!

  5. The VC called the F-111 'silent death' for a reason. They are very quiet until you are on the afterburner side.

Anyway... piston engines are slow enough to be loud coming and going.

  6. Been flying these R/C's since the early sixties, Prop driven and helos, but these jets go too damn fast and get to far away for me to see and control! So I'll stick to the "pokey" ones that only go about 100mph!! Fuck Obama!!!!

  7. Been flying these things since the early sixties. Recips. and helos only though. These jets go so damned fast they get out of sight before I could control them. So I'll stick to the "pokey ones". Got 76 of them from tiny engines to a 4 engine Super Connie.
