Locking down and locking in

A new and sweeping security project to lock down gateways to the U.S. Capitol is being planned, aimed at targeting gang assaults and lone wolf attackers like the alleged al Qaeda suicide bomber FBI agents seized earlier this month.
Architect of the Capitol Stephen Ayers told Washington Secrets that the plan is to spend $7.8 million to secure House and Senate garages “very quickly” should an attacker try bust in. “It’s the ability to kind of secure our garages from entry in a very fast manner,” he said after briefly describing the funding request to a congressional committee.
Ayers said the targets are “car bombs or groups of people or whatever the threat may be.”

Maybe if they ran the country the way it was supposed to be ran - Constitutionally - they wouldn't have to worry about going on lockdown like a bunch of schoolkids at an inner-city school.
Stupid motherfuckers. If they have to worry about shit like that, and if that many groups of people were that pissed at them for whatever reason, you'd think they might just figure out that they're doing something wrong.

  3. I'm in favor of dropping the gates and raising the drawbridge after the fact. It means the Congresscritters are trapped inside with whoever snuck in with whatever, and rescuers are trapped outside. Lessens the chances that either category of evil bastard inside will get out alive.

I honestly do not know why you folks have so much trouble seeing the silver lining here.

    stay safe.
