The wife and I were down there earlier this year. They were trying to get the artist to donate it, and he was hesitant because it needed a lot of restoration work. It's made out of fiberglass, and was never really meant for permanent outdoor display. Maybe they'll get it back.

Too bad they took the statue down at the end of May.
